This is a sweetly crafted rom-com-ish story all the way through, with a really satisfying, adorable resolution.

Summary:  In which Cas seeks internet notoriety with his controversial views on the latest darling of American fiction, and stumbles across something else entirely. 

Comments: I've read this and read this again.  I've never bookmarked it but every time it comes across my dash or I find it on a rec list, I'm off again, running through the 9k words, sometimes not all of them.  It's a great piece of fiction that uses sarcasm and acerbic wit to dig into all the little cracks of its protagonists.  And yet I can never definitively say I like it and I think the reason for that has nothing to do with its content or style, but with its framing as a Dean/Cas fic.  I can't find the canon Castiel within the story's Castiel.  I understand that it's an AU, and I love AUs, but the name "Castiel" could have been replaced with any other and I wouldn't recognize it as him at all.  At most they share a certain arrogance, but there exists in the fic an innate cruelty and cowardice that in my, perhaps biased, view is not present in Castiel.  So yes, read this because it's a well-written story, but not because you're looking for a world where Dean and Cas exist as a couple.
