Oooh hello hello!! And thank you for the ask!
🌼 How do they view their significant other? Are they the light in their life? Best friend? Savior, etc.?
Generally they’re both major pillars in her life that she depends on way more than she thinks and/or is able to admit. Don’t get me wrong, the rest of the brothers are very important to her too, but with Satan and Solomon she will genuinely become despondent for a while if she lost either of them either through breakup or death (with the despondency lasting much, much longer with the latter)
With Satan specifically, since he’s Dola’s first relationship ever there’s just a lot to him? She sees him as proof that she can love and be loved, and genuinely does see him as her savior of sorts because of how he supported her after the Incident from Lesson 16. Self-discovery, acceptance, the beginnings of growth; comfort, trust, and a deep understanding of each other. Patience.
With Solomon, she sees him as her best friend, mentor, equal, and savior—him taking her in as an apprentice changed her life massively after all, and for the better. If Satan’s her comfort zone, Solomon’s the one who encourages her to step or sometimes even leap right out of it whether he knows he’s doing so or not. Inspiration, diligence, adventurousness; trust, reassurance, and honest, vulnerable conversations late at night. Humanity.
🔪 Do they try to be a good influence on their s/o or do they not care?
She tries to help them with things they want her help with—it’s not secret to anyone that she’s helped Satan with his relationship with Lucifer, though she fully respects and reminds him from time to time that he doesn’t have to force himself if he doesn’t want to, despite the occasional pressure from his brothers and Simeon. Also managed to influence him into upping his fashion game and cleaning up his messes with his books, especially once they start living together (though the latter was largely caused by her accidentally touching a cursed book that had pretty bad consequences and less by her convincing him with her own efforts.)
With Solomon she definitely tries to keep him from overworking himself whenever he gets deep into researching something, but since she herself tends to go nuts with her work too, it’s like… Pot meets kettle. But it’s fine since he’s the same with her, so the resolution ends up between the both of them helping the other out with the research so it at least ends faster…
But for the most part she leaves them alone, only bringing things up if they start causing real problems in the relationship.
