Allah Almighty said about Quran: “This is the Book, whereof there is no doubt, guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqoon [the pious]” (Quran, 2:2) The Holy Quran does not just comprise of teachings about the past nations but also encloses life transforming instructions and guidelines from the Gracious Lord. In Holy Quran, Allah stated that: “And, We have certainly presented for the people in this Qur’an from every [kind of] example – that they might remember.” (Quran, 39: 27). اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ .إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ .إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ "O Allah, let Your Blessings come upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious". The famous companion of Rasulullah Salallahu Alayhi WasSallam, Hazrat Ka'ab bin Ujrah Radi Allahu Anhu, narrates that once it was enquired from Rasulullah Salallahu Alayhi WasSallam as to how blessings should be sent to him. Abdullah ibn Abbas RadiAllahu Allahu Anhu, says that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallim) said that if a man recites the following Durood Shareef once, then for the coming 1000 days the Angels of Allah Ta'ala will be busy in writing reward for the reciter of this Durood. This Durood Shareef is a very rewarding one. By reciting it only once, the Angels go on writing good deeds in the account sheet of the reciter for full 1000 days. What a great reward and what a great return! The Durood is: JAZZALLAHU ANNA MUHAMMADAN (SALALLAHU ALAYHI WASSALLAM) MA HUWA AHLAHU. "O Allah!
