Ai isn’t a big fan of these parties that Momo likes to drag him to, but he finds himself helpless to turn down his roommate’s good-natured pouting; Momo just wants him to have fun in the end, even if he vanishes the second they push through the door of the house that’s already thrumming with music and people on the far side of sober.

Ai huffs a quiet sigh to himself, watching Momo chase after a pair of pretty girls with a grin fixed to his face that he knows won’t be going anywhere soon and even though he tells himself he could just leave at this point and not be noticed he steps the rest of the way inside with a shake of his head, resolving to find himself some kind of alcohol to ease the flutter of anxiety in his chest.

Unfortunately, he’s too small to fight the press of people around him and ends up slammed into the chest of the literal definition of tall, dark and handsome, resulting in an embarrassing squeak and a warm hand reaching out quickly to steady him; Mr. Handsome looks down at him and both corners of his mouth turned slightly upwards, making no immediate move to let go of his shoulder, “careful there, little duck.”

Let’s see, I moved from town out into the boonies when I was five. My mom and dad worked a lot just trying to keep food on the table, so my sisters took care of me most of the time. I’m the youngest and by all rules of sibling-dom that meant I got sat on a lot. They couldn’t beat on me too much, since I was sickly child and was in and out of hospitals all the time, but just enough to make it known that I was being annoying. For instance: once Tara and Jess locked me out of the house and I got so furious i threw my shoe through the door window and unlocked it myself.

It’s tiny. And when I say tiny I mean I think there’s about 15 houses and I think one of them is only inhabited by woodchucks, starlings, and bats. I’m surrounded by swamps and hills, which is great in the summer because the little dips and valleys turn into DISGUSTING MUGGY MOSQUITO HOLES. Nearly everyone in town is related to me in some way, which is why we don’t go to the church that’s right next door. OH, and we just found out from the original deed of our house that part of our property was a graveyard, but its no longer there and we have no idea what happened to it.

i’m so quiet when i first meet people I think it puts off that I don’t like them and don’t want to be there, but tbh I’m just terrified of people. When I get to know you I’m friendly enough, and I make a lot of dumb jokes/puns. Um, I get obsessed with small objects a lot, like those little puzzle erasers. Or my collection of starburst wrappers.

How sousuke probably would have never been able to even begin to understand entirely what it meant to swim w/ friends if he hadnt seen how hard nitori was working in order to swim with rin and everyone

if sousuke hadnt seen himself in nitori and helped him train nitori might not have gotten as strong as he had and made such a quick improvement and get to finally swim with his friends

the fact the sousuke helped nitori reach his dream which even inevitably led to nitori being captain

sousuke who disdained weakness and saw no way of getting stronger or becoming any better through putting any emphasis on friends along the way helped nitori anyways

sousuke and nitori both desperately having worked hard to reach the same goal. to Finally be able to swim w/ their friends. to finally have been able to swim w/ rin. They learned from each other. They became So much stronger after working w/ each other and im actually going to get crushed by this great rare pair that has so much potential please spread the gospel truth
