Nova, Lairus and The Lady’s Thoughts:
Nova Sweetheart’s Thoughts
(Personification of The Universe)
• She’s Fascinated by the Mystery
• Nova is young, inquisitive, and loves solving puzzles.
• The fact that so little is known about Kal and Octavius’s relationship? That’s intriguing.
• She’d probably be just as curious as Tony—but with less emotional weight.
• She Believes the Past and Present Always Intertwine
• As the Universe, she knows everything is connected.
• Maybe Tony was meant to uncover something about Kal.
• Maybe this isn’t just about Octavius—maybe Kal’s legacy still has a role to play.
• She Wouldn’t Stop Tony From Digging, But She’d Be Cautious
• Nova would encourage Tony to look deeper, but not blindly.
• The truth always has consequences.
Lairus’s Thoughts
(Personification of All Secrets)
• They Know the Truth, But They Won’t Say Anything
• Lairus is the embodiment of secrets—so of course, they know exactly what happened between Kal and Octavius.
• But they won’t tell anyone.
• They Find Tony’s Curiosity Entertaining
• Watching Tony struggle with his own thoughts is amusing.
• Secrets are powerful, and Tony is stumbling through this blindly.
• They Know That Some Secrets Should Never Be Told
• There’s a reason Octavius keeps quiet.
• There’s a reason Kal is rarely spoken about.
• If Tony really wants to know, he’ll have to find the truth himself.
Summary
• Lazarus-Raven: Thinks Tony is overcomplicating things. If Octavius is hiding something, who cares?
• Nilo: Understands Tony’s concern but warns him that some truths are better left undiscovered.
• Tayen: Thinks Tony should focus on himself instead of worrying about a dead man.
• Nova: Is fascinated by the mystery but warns Tony that the truth always has consequences.
• Lairus: Knows everything—but won’t say a word. They find the whole situation amusing.
The Lady’s Thoughts
(Personification of Purity)
• She Thinks This Is a Foolish Distraction
• The Lady has little patience for gossip, secrets, or unnecessary emotional turmoil.
• Tony is wasting time worrying about Octavius’s past instead of focusing on his own responsibilities.
• She Disapproves of Octavius’s Silence
• While she doesn’t care much for Kal or Octavius personally, she believes that truth should be laid bare.
• If Octavius is hiding something, that suggests impurity—and she hates impurity.
• She wouldn’t go out of her way to investigate, but she’d tell Tony that if he wants answers, he should demand them outright.
• She Thinks Tony Should Stop Acting Weak
• She already doesn’t hold Tony in high regard.
• His fixation on the past makes him look even more fragile in her eyes.
• He is Time—the master of past, present, and future.
• So why is he letting a dead man shake his confidence?
Lairus
the Personification of All Secrets
Overview & Personality:
• Lairus is an enigma even among the personifications. They are omnipresent yet unseen, always lingering on the edge of perception.
• They know everything that is hidden—every whispered confession, every buried truth, every lie unspoken.
• Unlike some personifications, they are not bound by morality—they do not judge secrets as good or bad, they simply hold them.
• Lairus rarely speaks, and when they do, it is often in riddles, half-truths, or cryptic messages that leave others unsettled.
• Their presence is subtle but unnerving—when they enter a room, the temperature drops slightly, and shadows seem to stretch unnaturally.
• They have an uncanny ability to appear exactly where they are most unwelcome but are never truly seen arriving or leaving.
Appearance:
• Lairus has a constantly shifting form—they might appear as a hooded figure with no face, a mass of ink-black tendrils, or even a reflection that moves independently.
• Their “eyes” are often obscured, but when visible, they appear as mirrors, showing whoever looks at them their deepest secret.
• Their voice is soft yet layered, as if multiple voices are speaking at once, but only one can be understood at a time.
• If they ever wear clothing, it is always deep, swirling shades of gray and blue, resembling shadows interwoven with fabric.
Lairus & The Other Personifications
What the Personifications Think of Lairus:
• Octavius (Evil): Deeply respects and fears them. Octavius is powerful, but Lairus holds his darkest truths, things even he may not fully understand. They have an almost silent agreement—Octavius never asks, and Lairus never tells.
• The Lady (Purity): Despises Lairus. She believes that secrets breed corruption, and Lairus is the manifestation of everything unclean and hidden. Lairus finds her naivety amusing.
• Nilo (Death): Treats them with detached respect. Death and Secrets go hand in hand, after all. Many truths are buried with the dead, and Lairus keeps those secrets well.
• Lazarus-Raven (Sleep): Finds Lairus unsettling but acknowledges their importance. Lairus often appears in dreams and nightmares, whispering secrets in ways that only the subconscious can decipher.
• Tayen (Life): Sees Lairus as neutral, but does not enjoy their presence. Life thrives in openness, while Lairus thrives in what is hidden. Tayen understands their purpose but finds them unsettling.
• Adrian / Dr. Fall (Insanity): Has an odd fascination with Lairus. Adrian whispers to them sometimes, hoping they will whisper back. He enjoys their eerie presence, finding comfort in the unknowable.
• Florence (Nature): Does not trust them. Nature is honest, raw, and open—secrets are unnatural to Florence. They do not despise Lairus, but they do not enjoy their company.
• Kenley (Luck): Finds them terrifying. Lairus knows exactly when Luck will run out. Kenley doesn’t want to know the secrets they hold.
• Hailey (Love): Thinks Lairus is tragic—she wonders if they are lonely, burdened with the weight of knowing everything and being unable to share. Lairus, of course, does not confirm or deny this.
• Blair (Music): Intrigued by them—music can be full of hidden meanings, and secrets can be sung in ways that people never notice. He has written songs based on their cryptic words before.
What Lairus Thinks of the Other Personifications:
• They are not close with anyone—not out of hostility, but because their nature is one of detachment and quiet observation.
• Lairus finds the other personifications predictable, in a way. They know every thought they hide, every action they regret.
• They pity Kenley for his desperate desire to fit in.
• They respect Nilo because Death understands the weight of unspoken things.
• They enjoy Octavius’s presence in a way that is difficult to describe—perhaps because Octavius does not fear darkness the way others do.
• They find Florence amusing, because even Nature has secrets—hidden caves, buried roots, and undiscovered places.
• They tolerate Valencia, knowing that Reality’s hatred of them comes from an inability to understand them.
• They are neutral toward Tony—Time erases secrets, but also creates them. Lairus watches the cycle play out over and over.
Additional Lore & Concepts
• Lairus’ Inner Domain:
• A vast, endless library, with books that have no titles and pages that are forever changing.
• Whispering corridors that echo secrets in hushed tones.
• A mirror at the center of their domain that, when gazed into, does not show one’s reflection—only the thing they hide most from themselves.
• Their Role in the Omniverse:
• They do not reveal secrets unless it is absolutely necessary.
• When a personification is created, Lairus already knows their entire life story.
• When a personification dies, Lairus is the last to speak their name before it fades into obscurity.
• They can erase a secret completely from existence, but only at great cost.
Final Thoughts:
Lairus is a lonely, neutral force, existing in the shadows of the personifications. They are not evil, nor good, but rather an embodiment of everything hidden. Most fear them, some admire them, but none truly understand them—and that is exactly how Lairus prefers it.
