Bank Holiday
Anyone got bank holiday blues yet? Anyone been working today, if so then sorry to hear!
But this weekend was something to celebrate.....the Queen's jubilee. Diamond in case you wondered, 60 years in short terms!
But what has this got to do with sport, well bank holiday showed off some specials. There was meant to be Peterborough Panthers against Lakeside Hammers. But a waterlogged track cut that idea.
Also tonight is is Wolverhampton Wolves v Swindon Robins.
But there is the jubilee concert...so get it on!!!!

It turned out that the holder's of the elite league could not be beaten.
The final score was Poole Pirates 50-43 Belle Vue Aces.
Belle Vue are next at Lakeside, hopefully they can get a result from that meeting.
Also in other speedway meetings Eastbourne were at King's Lynn Stars. It seems that in the beginning of the season there have been many incidents, this was no exception. Eastbourne rider Joonas Kylmakorpi crashed and was sent to hospital. All the best wishes go out to Joonas to aid a speedy recovery.
The aces create a shield
Well right now I am extremely happy at the prospect of Belle Vue Aces doing well in the upcoming season of 2012, due to another signing.
Another aussies I have to say, but it is the experience of Lakeside man Adam Shields!! That now makes the count to four riders and three of them Australian.
But I am hoping for a return of cookie because well he is a talent and one the aces NEED to keep!!
