A colored sketch of Lala-ru from Now and Then, Here and There. For those who don't know of the anime, search it up on Google or Youtube; it's a very heart-wrenching story filled with drama and some comedy (in small amounts). Much of this anime deals with the serious moral issues related to war and its consequences, rape, democide (means the murder of any person or people by a goverment), human brutality, and the exploitation of children.
Lala possesses the power to manipulate water and a pendant containing a nearly depleted water reservoir--which is tied to her strength and health. She is a quiet and non-violent young girl, often showing no emotions around other people. Although she looks like she's in her teens (I assume), she claims to be thousands of years old. So who knows if she's human or not.
