I've been doing art but not posting for some reason?? Sorry yall. Here's some of my recent pieces. Been playing even more with coloring style and flow lines and all that <3
Gideon was drawn first, I used a new pen and played with super thick lineart. For something like Gideon the Ninth I feel the effect worked great!
The Maomao the line art stayed thick and kinda messy, and of course I played with a billion effects and colors. I also downloaded a nice 'dust' brush that made all the glittery dust on the image, and I ADORE it.
Final piece was just some demon girl. I wanted to go with Orange, Green, Purple, but of course I added a million other colors too, because it's me. I actually kind of stunned myself with how this one turned out?? The eyes man, THE EYES. The HAIR! AUGH. I'm SO proud of her <3
Also it reminds me I probably need to work on my facial anatomy more? It feels like she turned out perfect by accident and I want ALL my pieces to look like this!
Enjoy!

I left tumblr but I guess I might be coming back soon for real time since apparently Elon's bots ARE POSTING ACTUAL, REAL LIFE CP AND CSA NOW.
I'm not even fucking joking. There are dozens of people in the replies and QRTs saying the same thing: the "PUSSY IN BIO" bots pots posted actual CP on their tweets.
IF YOU USE TWITTER, DO NOT HAVE AUTO-RECORDING ON, DO NOT STREAM AND MAKE SURE YOUR CACHES ARE CLEAN, POSSESSION OF CP - EVEN ACCIDENTAL - IS ILLEGAL. IF YOU SEE A TWEET HIDDEN FOR SPAM, DO NOT OPEN IT. I'm lucky to not have run into any CP/CSA footage myself yet, but I'm going to be extremely careful and I recommend you all be too. And if you DO happen to run into it, you can use websites like https://tips.fbi.gov/home. report.cybertip.org or iwf.org.uk/en/uk-report/ to report it.
Don't bother reporting it to twitter. Elon's already been exposed for restoring the account of a man who posted real CP. He won't care. He's a demon and twitter has become exactly the way he wants it.
Stay safe and pray for Elon Musk's downfall.

Hey folks! I'm opening a small batch of commission slots (maybe three or four groups max) for the end of the month. If interested, send an e-mail to YourDnDStories at gmail with the subject 'Doodles' to receive more information.
Examples of actual group and solo doodle commissions in the second and third images.
I'll try to keep commission advert posting to a minimum, just trying to cover some expenses!
On the off chance that any of you follow me here but not there, and you're interested in such a thing. :)
New Meme Alignment Chart came to me in a fit of Mania this morning. Have fun kids!
PSA TO ANYONE WHO DOESNT EVEN MAKE ART, DISABLE AI DATA COLLECTION ON YOUR BLOG
ART REBLOGGED TO AN ACCOUNT WITH THIS ENABLED WILL ALLOW MIDJOURNEY TO USE THE ORIGINAL POSTERS WORKS WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT
Caulifla's livestreaming on twitch, guys!!
And about the AI opt-out setting Tumblr will deploy tomorrow, I’ll just let you with the words of the person in charge of the heist:
Andrew Spittle, Automattic’s head of AI replied: “We will notify existing partners on a regular basis about anyone who’s opted out since the last time we provided a list. […] I believe partners will honor this based on our conversations with them to this point.”
So Tumblr will notify openAi and Midjourney that you wish your posts to not be used and it’s entirely up to them to comply or not. And as we know, we are talking about some of the less ethical companies on the internet (which honestly is kind of a feat), so that cute little setting will most than probably do nothing and less.
Not to mention that if it works the same as the search opt-out, the moment you are reblogged by someone who hasn’t opted out… Bam! You are in chatGPT, baebeeee!
I suspect that’s exactly how it works, it’s about what’s on YOUR blog not what you originally posted. It’s why I’m not bothering to delete any of my stuff honestly. I don’t know where it all is, who has it, who abandoned instead of deactivated. I’m just going to be very careful about what I share going forward.
NO!
the “learn more” on the setting says:
This option will prevent your blog’s content, even when reblogged, from being shared with our licensed network of content and research partners, including those that train AI models.
(emphasis mine)
So unless they’re lying about what the setting does, it should actually prevent it being shared!!
I’m wary about the “believe partners will honor this” bit BUT. but. I am relieved to know that reblogs are theoretically protected.
so I found a source for the quote, and it establishes there’s two elements to this:
New datasets sent to the AI companies will exclude anyone with the setting on. this is for sure.
tumblr will also send lists of people who’ve turned the setting on to the AI companies in hopes they’ll remove those people’s content from the already sent datasets
so by turning the setting on, even if the AI companies totally ignore it, you’re still removing yourself from any new datasets
Ok but I think there should still be a cause for concern and how we should continue to demand for better data protections.
This is OpenAI and MidJourney we’re talking about here.
Hey, so i'm working on my first WIP, and i wanted to ask about drafting. When can one consider their first draft done? Does it have to have the goal word count (ie; 100K), or would being about halfway there be considered a good enough first draft, that i can move on to the second and start editing?
Concluding each stage of the writing process
It's difficult to know when a phase of a writing project has concluded and you're ready to focus on a new objective as it's developing. I tend to approach my writing projects with a clear and uniform trajectory, regardless of how diverse my projects can be. This approach allows me to remain focused, thorough, and reassured that I am covering all my bases in an organized fashion. However, it also maintains space for me to be explorative and intuitive when necessary. In regards to word count, I don't think it's entirely relevant unless you're determined to adhere to strict genre conventions. Give your story the space it needs and not an extra inch.
(Optional) Zero Draft
In this phase, you're telling yourself the story. You're doing it quickly, messily, intuitively, and forgivingly. Explore every idea that glows in the dark for you, don't throw anything away or discount any possibility. Exhaust your imagination in this phase so that when you reach the first draft, you know you're making informed decisions.
First Draft
You're crafting the structure and core elements of the story. This is often the phase of discovery. You're becoming acquainted with your characters and how they interact, you're beginning to feel at home in the world and settings you've built, and you're seeing all sides of the conflict as it evolves. The goal here is settle on a beginning, middle, and end point, and by the end of this process you want to know your characters' motivations and relationships inside and out.
Second Draft
Go back quickly through the first draft and address any points where you got stuck, where you compromised for the sake of carrying on to the end, and fill in any apparent blanks. The first time you really iron something out, there will always be a few pesky creases. This is the time to find and flatten them.
Third Draft
This is where you question everything. Identify and scrutinize your decisions, dive into the "curtains are blue" discussions with yourself, and begin to tidy up things like grammar, clumsy dialogue, over-poured descriptions, and dubious vocabulary. Comb through each paragraph and be brutal, prioritizing clarity and intentionality of how you've told the story.
The Read Through
This is the point where I recommend doing three things:
Letting it rest away from you for 1-3 months so that you can return to it with a bit of unfamiliarity and new perspective.
Hand it off to a couple of trusted readers and give them ample time to read, digest, and craft some feedback
Reread the project once all the way through making no changes (although annotations are acceptable)
Fourth Draft
Finishing touches. Vigorously and meticulously scrub and scrape between the lines and imagine giving it to your worst enemy. If you can imagine any mean (but valid) things they could conceive of to say about it, this is the time to grapple with or fix those details.

I'm finally watching Bungo Stray Dogs, after lots of suggestions to do so!
I'm very much loving it so far, and had to draw up a Chuuya. <3
Also have to take a break from working on my video game to update my merch stock, so expect new art for a while! I hope to draw a couple more Bungo characters, and maaaybe some Twisted Wonderland?
Enough rambling, enjoy!
Check out my Etsy shop if you like! EDIT: Something about the drawing was driving me nuts so I adjusted some things! The original I posted is under the cut! I need to stop looking at it or I'll keep having issues forever. Enjoy!
More Bungo Stray Dogs art!
I tried a couple new things with this piece. I had a few art friends suggest I try coloring without lineart, and then adding the lineart later. It did make some cool effects overall, but dang mostly it just made coloring unfun, so I'm not sure that's for me.
I've also been using references from different artists to try and push further boundaries with my colors. I love my stupid intense neon colors, but I'm trying to find other ways to add stuff to the piece too.
Anyway, Akutagawa from Bungo Stray Dogs.
Enjoy! Check out my etsy if you want to!
Finally, I updated my Xenosaga fanfic after a year or so hiatus

As a purveyor of weird/quirky internet things, there are few things I love more than coming across a new little tool to make fun things with. Here's a running list of some of my favorites that I've found!
Games
Bitsy is a "little editor for little games or worlds" and one of my personal favorite tools on this list. A good first start if you want to make a game and have never made one before. It's got a pretty extensive wiki if you want to add audio, animations, etc.
Flickgame is just about as simple as it gets. You get 16 colors and 16 slides, and clicking colors is how you get to different slides. Super easy and fun!
Flicksy is both of the above combined! Make more complicated sprites that lead between branching rooms. Full disclosure, I've never actually made something with this, but it's been on my radar for a while.
Twine is almost too mainstream to put on this list, but it's a great one to know about. It's a tool for making those interactive fiction games where you click on the words to progress. So fun and hugely customizable.
Music
Beepbox is my current favorite way to create music. You get 16 measures and a pretty expansive set of preset instruments, with the option of making your own adjustments. The song is stored in the web address, so sharing is as simple as copy pasting the link! You can also export your music (so that you can add it to your games) UPDATE: Turns out you can have more than 16 measures! I just can't read. That makes it more cool!
Art
Piskel is an easy way to make pixel art sprites and animations. It's easy to use and you can resize sprites too!
Websites
Neocities!!! I cannot recommend this one enough. Build your own websites from scratch! Revel in the vibes of the internet in the late 1990s - early 2000s! This does require some coding knowledge, but there are plenty of resources out there to help. Speaking as someone who had 0 coding skills before making my site, it's very easy to pick up.
Domino is another tool that I've never actually used but have always wanted to. It's "a tool for collaging fragmentary thoughts and ideas without the friction of assembling them into linear writing", and is essentially a bunch of boxes that connect to one another, sort of like a mind map.
ProBoards is a free(!) forum creation website. You can even customize the layout with your Neocities coding knowledge!
Carrd is in no way underground, but as far as easy website tools come, it's one of the best, so it deserves to be here. Plus you can definitely make interesting and quirky things with it - this little game is one of my favorite carrds I've ever seen!
Please add any tools you love in the notes! I just adore finding things like this, and I'm sure there are some I've missed. It's important for creativity to sometimes spend an afternoon making a weird song or website that you never would have normally. I hope this inspires you to create!
Additions.
EleutherAI - text generator! Very helpful for inspiration.
Grapedrop - Alternative to Carrd for the more expert out there. More customization!
Scratch - make games or other stuff! It’s a simple programming language.
welcome to ‘no note bungus’. reblog and you will feel a sense of accomplishment and goodwill wash over you
