1. Which historical period would you LEAST like to live in?
Hmmmm... I'm not quite sure, every period had their pros and cons but I think I'll choose the witch hunting era (in Europe) during 16th century. Can't imagine how cruel it must have been to watch all those innocent people getting arrested and killed.
2. If you could replace the main character of any tumblr-popular tv show with anyone you wanted, which, who and why?
Thought about this very thoroughly and I wouldn't replace anyone in any show I know so far.
3. What's the farthest you've ever been from home?
(For the record, I'm living in Germany.) A couple of years ago, I took part in a student exchange to America. We've been around Saint Louis. I still remember that I've mentioned that they had 'Matrix' in the board cinema when we were nearly already there and hoped it would still be there on the flight home because I hadn't seen it for, like, ages. And you know what? It was :>
4. What was the last fictional thing that made you cry?
Hmmm... I have to admit, there aren't many movies which made me cry, seems like one of my ancestors must be a stone or something. But, of course, I do have feelings. Really.
But back to the question.
I cannot recall a chronological order but, for example, the warp core moment in Star Trek: Into Darkness or the graveyard scenes in The Dark Knight Rises (Gortdon's speech and then Alfred sobbing ;____; have to fight back the tears every time) or Sherlock S2E3 (The Reichenbach Fall), John's speech is heartbreaking, too.
5. Are you an active user of YouTube? In that case, who is your favourite youtuber?
I do use youtube, but I don't have an account there, it was deleted when you had to connect your account to a google email address.
I don't have a definite favourite youtuber, but I really enjoy watching the Everything Wrong With [movie] videos or Honest Trailers. The youtubers doing that are CinemaSins and Screen Junkies.
If you haven't seen them so far, go check it out, it's worth it!
6. You’re making dinner for yourself and three people. What are you making and who - living or dead - are you inviting?
I would serve a four-course meal, but not too complicated. First dish would be something like antipasti with delicious olive bread and pickles and maybe cheese, just some cold but tasty little stuff. After that, the next dish, a soup, warm.
The main course would be something like chicken from the oven or a roast (got a recipe for a delicious meat loaf, loving it) with mashed potatoes and salad and stuff like that.
And after that, a dessert, most likely a mousse au chocolat with some fresh berries as its easy to prepare and very tasty.
That's the board so far.
About the invitations: Robert Downey Jr., Joanne K. Rowling and Winston Churchill.
I think that would be a nice evening very interesting and entertaining conversations.
7. Current favourite quote?
So many and none .____.
I've read a couple of good ones in books lately, but can't recall a single one right now.
So, let's just have some Selina Kyle:
"There's a storm coming, Mr. Wayne. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.“
(The Dark Knight Rises)
8. Do you like the look of you handwriting?
Yeah, even though there are some things I don't like about it, for example, when some letters look too edgy or weird sometimes. But it's quite changeable, I like that, comes handy when you have to write cards and stuff like that.
9. How are your people skills?
Quite good I think... having a good empathy skill, I can see what people need, I can listen, I can comfort them. People in general are no riddle to me. (Geez, I sound like a narcissistic asshole...Wasn't my intention!)
It's just hard when it's about people you really care about. When they feel bad, when really bad things happened. You just love them so much, you do not know what to say because you're very careful to avoid saying something wrong...
10. Looking at where you are and what you have at hand right now, how well would you do if a zombie apocalypse broke out?
Not having any really effective weapons (despite my laptop or an umbrella, I'm sure these could bash in a few zombie heads) it wouldn't be very smart to go out. The main concern would be groceries and water, based on what I have at home I would survive something around two to four weeks, depending on how economical I'd use them.
The city I live in is quite big, so are the cities around. Zombies will be around at all times, so when I finally would have to go out luck would most likely be the main point that decides about staying alive or dying.
11. What would you name a fluffy black and white male puppy?
… Larry.
(Yes, that's a PotC reference.)
