These DIY lamb-shaped cookies are a delightful treat for kids and adults alike. With a buttery and tender texture, these cute little lambs will make any occasion special. Perfect for Easter or farm-themed parties!
Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 3 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. Black food coloring gel. Mini chocolate chips for eyes. Pink candy-coated chocolate pieces for nose.
Instructions: Put the softened butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl and mix them together until they are light and fluffy. Mix the egg and vanilla extract in well after adding them. Mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt together in a different bowl. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients one at a time until a smooth dough forms. Separate the dough into two equal parts. Cover each piece with plastic wrap and put them in the fridge for at least an hour. Warm your oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Remove a piece of dough from the fridge and roll it out to a thickness of about 1/4 inch on a floured surface. The dough should be cut into lamb shapes with a cookie cutter. Then, place the shapes on the baking sheet that has been prepared. After the oven is hot, bake the cookies for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden. After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet. Then, move them to a wire rack to cool all the way down. After the cookies have cooled all the way, use black food coloring gel to give each lamb cookie eyes. To make the nose, press a mini chocolate chip into the middle of each cookie. To add a touch of pink to the cheeks, you can use chocolate pieces covered in pink candy. Now you can enjoy your cute cookies that you made yourself in the shape of a lamb.
