Lambiya anon: sorry it's been a bit, life's been busy.

So I've been working on coming up the personalities of Lambiya, Ta-She, and Corvina since I already explained Chilla.

So for Corvina, she is full-on smug bitch and smug demeaning teacher energy. She is smug, condescending, and fully delights in her cruelty and tormenting people with her magic. I also see her being somewhat interested the psychology of her victims, getting in their head, seeing what makes them tick, and the best ways to break them. Though do to her arrogance when she feel humiliated or lose she gets very anger and will lash out. Corvina can also be petty and will hold grudges (much like real life ravens).

Ta-She is literally just vibing. She strong, hot, and powerful and she knows it. And she doesn't care enough about others to prove it or show off. She's mostly just vibing when with the coven. I imagine she joined the coven mostly for entertainment, both in fighting the ThunderCats amd watching the other members of of the Coven of Furies do their own thing and bricker. Like the other members of the coven will be arguing and fighting and Ta-She is just off to the side watching them while drinking wine. Aside from that she pretty go with the flow of things, and is the one to follow Lambiya orders the most. Though if something does catch her interest or she specifically wants to get something done or get something, she's gonna do it. In those circumstances it's very her way or the high way, and given that she has mind control magic that she won't hesitate to use (even on her own teammates), it's usually her way.

Last, but not least, Lambiya. So for the og herself, I leaned into her being a foil for Cheetara. Lambiya is very manipulative and will often fake compassion and kindness to manipulate people (which contrasts Cheetara's genuinely kindness). She's often specializes in emotional manipulation either playing to ego, subtly breaking people down, or making them relevant on her praise or advice. Her main characteristic is her desire for control and having power over others. This desire lead to most of her choices like being a scam artist, role in the cult, joining Mumm-Ra's army, and even making the Coven of Furies. I imagine she made the coven to begin as a way to move up the ranks in Mumm-Ra's army, which did work. But while the members she chose were the most powerful magic users in Mumm-Ra's army, there was a bit of a downside. That downside being these women are all very independent, not very loyal, will do their own things when they feel like it, and are not very subtle to Lambiya's manipulations. So you can imagine that with how much of a control freak Lambiya is, I can imagine some funny scenarios of Corvina, Ta-She, and Chilla driving Lambiya up a wall.

Lambiya anon: I'm happy you like it! I was really iffy on the coven idea but I wrote out the ask I really got more into it! Also I'm really happy you like Corvina and what I'm think of doing with Ta-She and Chilla! They're pretty bare bones right now I am excited to explore and come up with new stuff for them. Also in regards to any of them surviving, while I love Lambiya and Corvina, I actually think Chilla would be most likely to live. Right now for Chilla, I'm thinking she is the most intone and more like overtaken by her magic, some much so that she acts more likely a force of nature. She uncontrollable, intense, and violent. You never fully know went she let loose but when she does you know it will be strong and deadly. So if anyone can fight off the grip of death through sheer force of will or rage it would be her. Also while Chilla mainly works with Ice and Fire, she does have ties to other elements like nature. Taking some inspiration from South of Midnight, I could see Chilla saving a piece of her soul in a tree or something as like a horcrux to stay alive. And going off this she could come back eventually as a villain, and to contrast MummRa instead of using tech and being all about conquering, Chilla uses nature and the elements and is all about the destruction of basically anything.

Also for some out of context stuff (waring this might not be and good but Ima try) here's one of Corvina tormenting Tygra, how I kind of imagine the dynamic of the coven being, and one fun thing for Lambiya.

Corvina: Trying to insult me Little Claudus? How typical of you. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised, it is what you do after all, isn't it? It's what you, constantly tearing down everyone around you. Making them feel small and pathetic. All so you feel bigger. All so you can feel better about yourself. All so you can be the best of the worst. Your little brother is living proof of that.

Lambiya: Now that we've found those cats we can up with a pl-

Chilla: *leaps towards the ThunderCats with a war cry and shooting fire*

Lambiya: Or we can just jump in screaming, cause why not I guess

Corvina: Honestly darling I don't know what you were expecting, she does this all the time.

Ta-She: It's entertaining though.

Lambiya: I am too sober to deal with these bitches.

Lambiya anon: ok so it's been a bit but I've been wanting to send this for a while now but I either don't have time keep forgetting. So I had this idea for Lambiya that spiraled into a whole thing. So the basic idea is that Lambiya forms her own coven with in Mumm-Ra's army's. The other members of the coven include versions of characters from the original show Ta-She, Chilla, and and new oc. Ta-She and Chilla in this version would probably look like a mix their looks from the original ThunderCats and The Duelist from the episode The Duelist and the Drifter. Will also mention here that I headcanon that non-animal people on Third-Earth are the descendants of the original inhabitants of Third-Earth Ta-She, magic wise, specializes in mind control spells, particularly towards those who find her attractive (so she can effect both men and woman). Chilla specializes in elemental spells, mainly ice and fire, and she is the main attacker in the coven. And lastly is the oc Corvina, a raven woman from the lower ranks of Avista who decide to side with Mumm-Ra. Her magic is based are illusions and hallucinations, particular making people hallucinate their insecurities and self-doubts. Think like Scarecrows fear toxin, only instead of fears it makes people hallucinate situations centered around their insecurities and self-doubts, and technically fears too. Here's the one's she uses for each ThunderCat:

Lion-O: his insecurities that he's not good enough, that he's a failure, or that he'll end up being like his father and ancestors

Tygra: his self-doubts that he's a bad person that tears down those around him to make himself feel better (Corvina uses a lot of bad childhood interaction with Lion-O against him)

Cheetara: Her fears of losing the people she cares about, her trauma over the lose of her clan, her insecurity about her struggles with magic, and her self-doubts over whether or no she will be good at being the next head of the clerics

WilyKit: Her self-doubts that she and WilyKat abandoned their mother and younger sibling and possibly left them to die, all so they could find El Dara (which WilyKit is starting to be uncertain if it even exists.

WilyKat: insecurity about being the weakest member of the team, fear that the others will abandon him for being useless, and fear that he'll never find El Dara.

Panthro: War Trauma and guilt about how his actions in the war hurt innocent people.

Also gonna say this now I feel Corvina will have a similar thing like the Scarecrow where she's more defined by her powers and how they help the main characters progress character development wise.

Together they're known as the Coven of Furies.

They're main enemies for Cheetara and WilyKit, who are both learning and trying to get a handle on their magic. Cheetara mainly fights Lambiya and Chilla, WilyKit often helps out against Ta-She and Corvina since her music magic is pretty good and breaking Ta-She's control and Corvina's illusions, and warding off Corvina's hallucinations.

As for their fates, since I like the headcanon that since Mumm-Ra would eventually betray his generals turn them into hosts for the ancient spirits of evil (which will eventually kill them as even if they aren't destroyed, their bodies will eventual fall apart from the power and once the do the ancients spirits will go back into their realm since they lost their anchor in the mortal realm). As for the Coven their magic is used to do the ritual, and it either kills them be using up all their magic and souls, or it requires a sacrifice and Mumm-Ra kills them for the ritual (he doesn't tell them about the sacrifice part). Or they're killed after the ritual by Mumm-Ra who steals all their magic and souls to empower himself to make up for his lack of power due to not having all the stones of powers.

Oooo, I love all of this! I, myself, have plans for Chilia (if my brain is retrieving names properly). Somewhere many years ago, I decided the Lunataks were survivors from the Plun-Darr system and out for revenge against Mumm-Ra and his servants (to them, this is everyone).

I'm very interested in your spin of Ta-She and Chilia!! I don't see anyone ever use them. I also like the little handwave of "if it isn't an animal but is humanoidish, it's just a descendant of the natives." Very fitting and probably correct, given we've seen many native peoples of Third Earth. They are distinctly un-Animal like but still humanoid.

Scarecrow is such an interesting DC character. The idea of Corvina immediately tracks for me (perhaps more so because magic is actually involved and crows are sick as hell). I love love love the insecurities she takes advantage of with the cats, I think they are all extremely fitting.

Also, the name "The Coven of Furies" is so cool. I love how evocative of a name it is.

Oooof, what a rough fate for our Furies! I like to think one of them escapes (Lambiya or Corvina) to cause problems another day.
