honestly they terrify me like i’m all for letting people know if they’ve fucked up but this mob mentality has made this website a really unpleasant place to be a lot of the time like god forbid you go even a bit against the “acceptable parameters”

But I agree?? The rebuttals commonly come off as something akin to policing. And fact that people judge based on interests + sexuality + gender + sex, or preconceived notions about so-and-so based on a slip of the tag, or something irks me.

and it’s always to extremes - you’re either a god who can do no wrong or the scum of the earth. that’s one thing that really gets me.
what irritates me even more is half the stuff they seem to spout off is so contradictory as well, i cant imagine being 13/14 on this site and this is what you have to see every day, and they make you think that its an acceptable way to behave when the world isn’t as black and white as some people want to portray it.
