his voice nearly falls flat against the sound of whatever song she’s got  playing in the kitchen, and his jaw brushes against the side of her head as he cranes his neck in the slightest to get a look at the stove.

          ❛ whatever ransom you’re asking for ‘em, i’m not paying it. you look cute enough in my             shirt that i think i’d just let you keep it. ❜

at the mention of the food, he’s definitely curious to try, and her comment makes him chuckle as he looks over the egg in the pan.

   a gentle smile comes to pull at the corners of pink stained lips, oak colored hues sparkling with a sense of amusement as they watched the other with a particular fondness. a delicate hand found it’s way over the front of her face, melodious giggle echoing from the midst of her being as her shoulders shook with an unforeseen effort to keep still.        ‘ well, uh, sure i guess ! i can probably spot you something, o’god of decoration ..‘ fingers dug through the pockets of her coat, searching intently for some lucky grab. ‘ hm .. will a lollipop be okay for now ? if not, i can pay  you later !! i just reeaaally need to get some decorating done right now ..  ‘

he’s LAUGHING, choking on his laughter in fact, but still cringes when he picks up the cookie.  god knows how fucking old it is, but when the  offer of a CRISP twenty comes into play, he waves the stale wafer at her.

it really, truly is, for he simply bites out of the cookie, GAGGING the minute it’s in his mouth. he’s regretting everything about his entire l i f e in that moment, and forces himself to finish what he’s started.

Oh, he does not like being cornered like this. Especially not when he’s trying to enjoy himself here-- well, the fun was over it seemed. Anton’s brow immediately furrow, lips curling down and making him look like nothing more than a concerned citizen.

“I--I--Oh, God, you need to help me! Oh God--” He wails, bloodied hands running through his hair shakily as he sputters. “I...I found her and-- God, I--I was too late sh--she’s--” He manages to choke, attempting to hold back a fake sob, stepping back to reveal his work (some poor young thing cut down too soon).

He hoped this stranger wouldn’t give him too much trouble because the second he saw any badge of authority he was booking it.
