well what happens when you do the opposite, and make a white character black. I've seen tumblr do this a lot, or changing a characters bodytype, or sexual orientation ?

there was a post that explained why the opposite is fine, but i can’t seem to find it. It was that one post that used chocolate raisins for its metaphor.

One bowl represented white characters. The other represented characters of color.

The bowl that represented white characters, unsurprisingly, was very full. New white characters would be added to it constantly. If you added or removed any of the raisins, you wouldn’t be able to tell.

The bowl that represented characters of color, however, was very empty. Only a few raisins would be added, and not often.

The post next detailed a scenario where there would be two children: a white girl and a black girl. The white girl got the more full bowl, and the black girl got the more empty bowl. This was a metaphor for representation.

If raisins were taken from the white girl’s bowl and given to the black girl, it wouldn’t make a difference. If the white girl threw a tantrum over it, she’d be a brat.

If raisins were taken from the black girl’s bowl and given to the white girl, that would just be unfair. She would be justifiably upset. She had very few raisins to begin with, and the white girl already had so many.

this same situation applies to lgbtqia+ characters and fat characters.

Is it confirmed sket dance is ending in 3 chapters or is it just ending next volume ?? Still a bit confused on this one.

It’s a bit of both.

Normally, when the WSJ is published, there also happen to be many rumors about what is going to appear in the magazine (that is, cover, lead color chapter, what series are going to end in the next issues or, well, what new series are going to start). Normally they hit in the nail:

Given on some spoilers that I have read about 285, that I have already confirmed them given that JOJOhot, the Chinese scanlators already posted it, it has a BIG THING that has completely the whole ‘closing’ word in it. Until then, I think it’s pretty confirmed that the manga is coming up to a very close ending, given what important next thing needs to cover, in my opinion it could be the graduation.

About ending in the next 3 chapters and in the next volume is clearly logical given that the arc that the 32nd volume is going to cover is the one that is the climax, that is rightfully already ending. Now then, the volume needs to recollect like 8-9 chapters of the series, so, given that the arc could end in 286, it needs another 2 or 3 chapters to complete it.

So, then, it both ends in the 32nd volume and also in the 32nd issue of the magazine if it is indeed ending right there.
