“Blue,” Arthur decides immediately. “Bright blue.”

“Why the hell is it blue?” Merlin asks.

“Becuase I said so, you dolt. I don’t need a reason,” Arthur snaps back. “What’s yours then?”

“Red, like my scarf.”

“Camelot red?” Bennie snickers. “I like green. It’s the color of home.”

Gwen smiles. “I’m fond the shade of purple we use on the Bean signs.”

“Blue for me as well,” says Elliot. “But not bright blue. It’s like… a blue so deep that if you condensed time and space into an interdimensional time-traveling box, it would be just that shade.”

Everyone stares at him. “Nerd,” Gavin coughs. Gwen laughs.

“I have to agree with Bennie,” says Percy. “I’ve always liked shades of green.”

“A soft, chocolate brown,” Lance says. “It’s a calming color.”

Leon thinks for a moment before answering. “Silver, I think would be mine. Something metallic.”

“Blue again,” Morgan adds. “Navy blue.”

“I like teal,” Gavin says.

Percy frowns. “What? Why?” 

Gavin shrugs. “It was the color of Bennie’s hair when I met them.”

The room goes silent. Bennie grins. “Gavin, you fucking sap.”

“Yes and it’s about time too,” says Merlin. “Considering the months worth of attempts foiled by Lance being a chicken.”

“I was waiting for the right time!”

“Don’t be such a downer, Merlin.”
