🌷Year 30 - Spring 3 - Rogers🌷

In Year 30, Lance almost winced as he received another promotion at his (in his mind) temporary Politics job. He was really going to have to talk to his dad at some point about his real desires!

Speaking of desires, as soon as he had changed he picked up the phone to call Sadie Simmons and invited her over. He immediately got to flirting when she walked through the door. After all, he'd spent his entire teenagerhood never meeting anyone like her so he felt like he was making up for lost time.

And with their insane chemistry, it didn't take long before they were sharing their first kiss and even moving onto making out heavily on Lance's couch. Sadie, despite her earlier protestations to Antwan that she wanted to focus on her career, couldn't help but feel herself falling in love!

They didn't take things any further (after all, it was just their first date) but Lance still went to bed that night with a massive smile on his face. He hoped there were good things coming for him and Sadie!

🌷Year 16 - Spring 2 - Rogers🌷

Year 16 at the Rogers household began with Hazel helping Lance with his homework while Mason climbed into his carpool to the mainland. He'd had a few days off now and his constituents were starting to wonder where he was so he needed to get back into the swing of things!

Once Lance was at school (with his completed homework), Hazel spent most of the morning trying to coax Darcy into saying 'Mama'. She was unsuccessful.

"Oh well, we'll try again tomorrow. Come on, little one, time for a nap!"

Hazel's workbench was now over at her market stall, so she couldn't do much to earn money for the household while she needed to care for Darcy. Instead, she spent Darcy's nap time on her tablet improving her sales badge.

Mason came back from work a bit disgruntled. He hadn't earned a promotion in years now, and he was starting to realise he lacked the necessary skills. He plonked himself down in front of the chess set, determined to improve his Logic once and for all.

That night, he got Darcy fully walking, fulfilling a want for both of them, and he even got credit for finally getting her potty trained (even though Hazel has put in most of the work there)! That lifted his mood and he was hopeful that this, combined with his higher skills, would stand him in good stead for a promotion when he returned to work the next day.
