its a rarepair but they are cousins, from the same sort of dragon pokemon religion/cult, they are rival trainers but tend to be close, they have a double battle together in the remakes, the building blocks are all there but its not really a ship with ton of stuff, guess its up to me to fill the ao3 tag (currently has only 12 fics)
