Lancer has a tradition of making whoever The Fun Gang had to fight before sealing the fountain into one of his Dads (The Titan doesn't count for obvious reasons) being Dad Dad (King), Lesser Dad (Roulxs), Girl Dad (Queen) and Funny Dad (Tenna), so what would Flowery be in terms of Dads? Or would it be more of a brother situation? Been thinkin' about it.
(Flowery🌼 sits up in his chair, as Lancer🕳 appears through the door.)
🌼: Oh..! Um... you're Susie's friend, aren'tcha?
🕳: Yes! She said that you'd like a visitor! So here I am, Lancer!
🌼: Well then, Littlebuddy, how's it growing?
🕳: Hmm... great!

🕳: Oopsies, I better get back before Girl Dad and Lesser Dad get worried like little pumpkins!
🌼: See you, then.
🕳: Bye-Bye, Flower Dad!
(Flowery🌼 looks at him, startled.)
🌼: Dad..? Hey, Littlebuddy, I um, d-doubt I'd be a 'Dad'...
🕳: But you're an older parental figure!
🌼: H-How... old do you think I am?
🕳: Hmm... I dunno...- Thirty? That's what human adults are, right?
🌼: Th-Thirty..?! No, no, no! Littlebuddy, I'm nowhere near that! I'm fresh into college..! I'm Asgore's College Buddy!
🕳: Huh? Whossat?- Kris's Dad? Then BOY HOWDY you're old! You're as old as my Real Dad!
🌼: No way! I'm still young as anything! I don't age like Asgore does!
🕳: Ohhh. Then yeah, okay! So... I call you: Flower Uncle?
🌼: Um...
🕳: Flower Bro?
🌼: If you want...
🕳: Oh! I've got it! Mr Flower!
🌼: I suppose so, Littlebuddy.
So. I have this AU where Kris explains to Ralsei their plan and she runs away with them to help them, but they don't explain jack shit to Susie so she just thinks that her best friends have betrayed her, so because she feels like she can't face any Dark Worlds alone (and as a coping mechanism), she founds the Lancer Fan Club 2.0 or the Shit Squad Replacements (can you tell I got the idea from Ninjago lol?). As a coping mechanism she makes Berdly take Kris' place and Lancer take Ralsei's. She also gets Kris' SOUL. Kris can stay alive in the Dark World without the SOUL through the power of ✨ Bullshit ✨
Anyways I'm really interested in Susie/Berdly/Lancer dynamic. I think Susie and Lancer are what Berdly needs — people who find him fun to be around (Lancer) and who can give him a reality check at any moment (Susie).
Also I know that Lancer has always formed part of the Squad, this AU would just give him screentime :]
I'm calling this "The Girl Alone in Deepest Dark AU" and I don't think I'll ever touch it again but it's fun to think about it :]
Tbh i don ' t think lancer is the same age as the fun gang , but i also don ' t think that lancer is a five year old , maybe 10 - 13 ?
Ngl this is one of my favorite sprites
How's lancer? Because I'm genuinely curious to see how he's grown out considering how strong King was!
Plus a literal 'King-sized' Lancer would be a joke I think he'd appreciate.
