🌱🌱🌱 land magic & green magic 🌷🐞🐾
today I had this feeling that when I looked at the trees they were looking back at me and that deep down the line, like the distant echo of a drop of a water in a cave from a dream, I know them and they know me. 🌱
so I want to look into things like land magic, dryads, any nature spirits and deities (esp in Chinese folk tradition), etc
I’ve been thinking of my relationship with the land I live on too (understanding the history of the land I’m on, actively working to engage with and support the Native peoples here, understanding how this land links everyone who lives in it, and working to preserve it for the people who will live here after us).
obviously this kind of spirituality pairs right up with environmental justice activism, Native allyship and reconciliation, and reworking the Eurocentric way I’ve always seen land, which is just peachy with me 😉
