Strap in Ark ‘cause I have a lot but also very little to say on this honestly !!

I’m honestly even hesitant to call it an AU because I’d legitimately make it part of my canon if I could - but basically, post-KH3, Riku has pretty much adopted all of the ‘Ku’s as his siblings.That’s inclusive of Repliku, Replitwo and Data ‘Ku, who are oldest to youngest in that order.

Repliku and Replitwo are technically twins, though Repliku is the oldest of the two of them - and Data ‘Ku is the youngest, but he probably acts almost on par to Riku in maturity in comparison to the Replicas.

They do get their own names - I’ve just yet to actually discuss this with anyone but @heartspliit, so besides the Replica, Shiro, the others’ names are TBA.

While they all take varying amounts of time to warm up to Riku to their own comfort levels, they don’t particularly always like spending time with him together. It causes a bit of panic and stress since the three of them basically live off of Riku’s old memories, it’s all they remember from before they truly came into existence – and spending all their time together with each other with Riku sometimes causes them to panic ; are they really creating their own memories here? If the others are here experiencing the same thing, what makes my memory unique?

Riku works really hard to make them all feel unique and special, and treats them all very differently, but also sometimes the same. He makes sure to spend time with them all together, but also to spend time with each of them separately. It’s as strange for him as it is for them - but as much as they’re like him, they’ve also all grown into quite unique and independent people, to varying degrees of snark, sass and maturity.

He also knows he needs to just keep his distance. Sometimes, there’s things only the three siblings can understand amongst each other - the feeling of being based off of Riku, for example, something he does try to understand but can’t wholly grasp - but they don’t hold it against him. He’s more than prepared to give them anything and everything they might ever need to be happy and comfortable - even if that means a bit of time away from him, since just being close to him on off-days can have them corner in on themselves with their anxieties over how ‘real’ any of them really are.

It happens more to the Replicas than Data Riku ; but even he has his moments.

Riku does love and care for them very much, and really enjoys teaching them about the Islands and the culture and the language, among other things - most importantly, he just enjoys seeing them start to live out lives he’s come to think they all deserve.

tbh at this point I can't remember where exactly I first saw you? maybe when searching up Riku? BUT I was awestruck by your portrayal of The Boy™ and I loved every headcanon/drabble you posted. tbh I was a bit intimidated just from the sheer skill you have with writing and roleplaying. can you have a writer's crush? if so then yeah I definitely had (still have) one on your writing. but you're a wonderful, sweet person and though we don't talk too often you're an absolute doll ---landprince

Honestly whenever I’m struggling with writing drabbles or bits of fanfiction ( which i haven’t done in a while, i should,,, fix that,,, ) I always go to your writing for inspiration ???? Or even just when I want Good Stuff to read, especially soft sorikus.

We definitely don’t talk as much as we should, but that’s just ‘cause I’m both shy and super busy lately - but ilu !! I always look forward to seeing you and your writing on my Dash <3
