Landscape Interrupted

Landscape Interrupted
7th June, ‘22
The weather was beautiful and bright so I went a big walk into town and took my camera, with the goal of capturing my landscape interrupted brief. I came across this basketball court just down the road from Eglinton Toll. I had never been this route before so I didn’t know that the court was there but I immediately was drawn to the bright colours and how vibrant it looked in the sunshine. Here we have a man made build in amongst greenery. I think it’s funny how you have a structure in the middle of nature that has a fake grass like ground, like it’s ‘mimicking nature’.
In terms of framing, I like how the bush and tree frames the court in the picture; Nature wrapping around structure as if fighting back for it’s space.

I didn’t have to edit this photograph that much as I liked the exposure and vibrant colours.
I opened up my image in photoshop and on an adjustment layer I opened curves and increased the whites and added a tad of contrast.
The colours in photograph were already quite bright and vibrant but I increased the saturation a little by +6.
That was all the adjustments I made for my Landscape Interrupted photo.
