Louise Bonfils (Nov. 3, 1856 - 1933) was a Danish marine painter. She was the first woman in Denmark to register to train as a marine painter and she studied at Kunstskolen for Kvinder at the Royal Academy and later with Tuxen and Krøyer at Kunstnernes Frie Studieskoler.

Preben Hornung (July 22, 1919 - 1989) was a Danish artist who worked mainly in the Constructivist vein. He trained at Kunsthåndværkerskolen and after that the Royal Academy throughout the 1940s. He participated in the artist group Linien II, and is well-represented at the National Gallery (SMK)
