Whilst I work on Basic Instinct Chapter 19 and editing TWP chapter 3, I just had this silly little idea for my non-English native speaking followers.
You know how you have words, that also can have a seperate popculture meaning? Like black berries- Blackberry (the phone brand).
I want to know, are there any words who have a popculture meaning in both English and your native language?
Personal example:
Beehive- EN
Popculture meaning: Beyhive, Beyoncé's fandom.
Bijenkorf- NL
Popculture meaning: This is the brand name of a fancy department store, the kind who only sells luxury products like the make-up section being all designer such as Chanel. Kind of like England has Harrods in London, but the Bijenkorf has several stores spread throughout the country and isn't limited to one city.
