The words are enough to make every feeling he’s kept hidden start to bubble up to the surface. It’s like a physical ACHE in his chest, he can hardly think of a time when he’s ever felt like he was enough. When anyone’s even said those words to him. But she does---she says those words and Adrian feels like his heart may burst. Because he LOVES her and he knows she loves him too, but sometimes it was still hard to reconcile with the thoughts he had, the fears that haunted him. People always left, always ran from him---but she hasn’t. For once, he’s not so terrified that she will. 

He can only meet her gaze for a moment before he turns away, sucks in a deep breath. He really doesn’t wanna CRY right now, but he can already feel the tears forming. Even in spite of the tears, a soft smile spreads across his face when he looks back at her. He sniffles, ❝Sorry,❞ he says. He laughs a little trying to hide just how emotional he’s gotten. ❝You know, in a lot of ways---I think you’ve actually made me believe that.❞

His grin is wide as he looks at her, their faces only inches apart. He thinks she looks beautiful in this moment, in every moment---but it was small moments like these that made his heart feel warmest. Adrian has always been at least a little bit afraid to open his heart ( he was never sure he could stop it all from pouring out. ) But he tries to push those thoughts back as much as possible. Seeing Yoobin’s smile, feeling her hand in his, these moments spent with her---it made things easier for him. He can’t help but breathe out a laugh at her words, ❝you’re being impatient,❞ he says softly, still smiling. 

Still, even before she has the chance to give any kind of retort he leans in and presses his lips against hers. ❝You know I’d never deny you a kiss.❞

                    “  I  think  there  might  be  a  bit  more  to  that  than  you  might  think.  “  riv  nodded  his  head  a  few  times  as  if  this  was  his  way  of  assuring  her  of  the  honestly  of  his  words,  as  he  focused  his  glance  at  the  female.  “  look,  if  world  was  so  easy  to  solve,  wouldn’t  we  know  everything  by  now?  that  would  totally  suck  and  I  hate  anything  that’s  boring.  “

☔ a kiss in the rain

kiro could feel the rain pouring over him, soaking through his clothes, but it didn’t stop the feeling of warm tears washing down his cheeks. “i told you, i’m not fucking NORMAL!” his last words catch on a sob, his hands clutching onto his soaked shirt. “it’s not my fault, i was just a kid, but they did this to me. i’m not fucking normal. you don’t like me because of who i am, michael. you like me because my entire being, everything about me, forces you to!” he scrubs at his face, stumbling back when the other steps closer. “no stop, please. i don’t want to make this worse.” he feels all of his defenses break when michael steps closer to him to engulf him in a hug, and the dam breaks open. all of the emotions that kiro felt came off him in waves, and he nearly burst into tears again at the warm embrace. he pulls back just slightly, large eyes staring at michael before he lurches forward, grabbing onto michael’s cheeks and kissing him, nearly toppling the both of them over with the force. it’s still pouring, and both of them are soaked, but in the moment, it’s everything kiro could have asked for.

🌹 – a kiss on the first date

crystal brushes her fingers through sparrow’s hair lightly, watching his peaceful face as he dozes off on her lap. she supposes normally, it would be her in that sort of situation, but she’s hyperaware of everything happening at the present moment. most girls would be pissed about their date dozing off on the first date, but crystal didn’t. she’d fallen asleep on him multiple times, either on the phone or over text, and if he felt comfortable enough around her to fall asleep on her lap, that meant something to her. he’s half between sleep and awake anyway, she can tell. 

the river sounds lovely at this time of night, somewhere between nightfall and dawn, she’s not quite sure. her phone lays in her jacket pocket on the other side of the blanket, next to hers and sparrow’s shoes. she breathes out a sigh, looking back down at sparrow. his eyelashes are so long, and she can’t help but let her gaze drift a little bit lower. had his lips always been so pretty? he’s gorgeous, that much she had known, but crystal supposes she hadn’t spent a lot of time thinking about his lips, not like she was now. she bites down on her lower lip before nudging the younger boy softly. now or never, she supposes. would sparrow ever work up the nerve to kiss her first? she has to be bold. 

“hey, sparrow?” she says softly, waiting a minute for a reaction, for him to open his eyes and look at her quizzically before she leans down, no matter how awkward the angle, to press a soft but sweet kiss to his lips, just a peck really. she pulls back after a moment with a furiously red blush creeping up her cheeks. “s-sorry.” she stammers,completelyy unlike her. “just wanted to.”
