Gallifrey lower decks OCs gender + sexuality

Keep in mind that I'm using human terms for Gallifreyans here which is going to be not quite accurate

Dela: she's sort of transfeminine. Apart from her first body all of her incarnations have been found close to woman in gender, although bodies do vary. It does depend on the incarnation for the specific level of nonbinary and woman and agender. Her first body was physically male, but whether Baby Dela was a boy or in denial is impossible to say. He wasn't around long enough. What does vary a lot is her presentation though. The second Ardela was very butch, the current one is significantly more feminine. Orientation wise she's generally a lesbian and arospec, it gets a bit muddled sometimes though

Rolenva is transmasc. Always and in every incarnation. This is one of the most important things about her. However, the current, first Rolenva does not know this, hence me always using she/her pronouns. She's in deep, deep denial. In a few regenerations she's going to regenerate into a male body for the first time and he's going to have a lot of realizations. Currently dresses mostly masculine (and alien fashion. Hates time lord robes and collars and such) because 'it's more practical'. Aro and bisexual. More into women generally

Obnik is agender and aroace. Tends to go with whatever name/pronouns fit the body. Does not actually care. Presentation is very consistently Time Lord

Dolin is, uh, it's hard to say. You could describe him as a trans man but that's not really accurate. He used to be 100% a woman for many incarnations. Bodies matched that too. Then some switch flipped in a regeneration and now all his incarnations are 100% men. No bit of nonbinaryness in him. Not into people apart from the weird thing he has going on with Lanro. Which can't be classified in either Time Lord or human terms

Lanro is nonbinary always. Their specific flavor varies, they're often genderfluid too. More into explosions than people, apart from the thing with Dolin

Patok's a dude. A guy. Not a man though. 'normal' time lord agender. Aroacespec but sometimes likes to fuck. Prefers men in that case but isn't picky either

Shiro is very in love with Lance, who is very oblivious to the black paladin’s feelings. Shiro goes through great lengths to show Lance just how much he means to him, but the young man just doesn’t seem to get it, shrugs off everything Shiro does - there’s only so patient a man can be, and Shiro eventually reaches his limit and decides to be cheesy. 

Second chapter is gratuitous smut, but the first chapter is rated T and is safe for work. It’s also incredibly fluffy and slightly langsty and also super fluffy. Did I mention pining shiro? and bottom shiro?

The Gallifrey Lower Decks (my OCs) Ages and Regenerations

(these are going to have varying amounts of precision)

Dela is about 1100 years old and on her third body. She first regenerated very young and embarrassingly, she fell very unluckily down the stairs at the academy when she was 90. The other students made terrible fun of her and she ended up getting some revenge by using the rules and playing the system to a terrifying degree, which put her on the CIA's radar. Her first body was a boy and rather shy, her second had a more ruthless edge, which let her work her way into an influential position and figure out a fair bit of secrets (hence why she can fake higher security ratings. this Dela usually went by Ardela (longer part of her full name) and enjoyed hacking a lot). Her next regeneration was planned, and not that long ago, a few decades maybe. She's gentler again in this body, and much happier to work with people as people instead of as resources. She looks about 20

Patok is 900 and has regenerated once before at about 400. It was rather traumatic, a big accident or attack that involved a lot of guards. He woke up confused, not knowing who he is surrounded by other people in the same position, injured people and corpses. He hasn't changed much on first glance, neither in his appearance nor in his demeanor. But this Patok has a hardness the first did not. While he very much has fun most of the time, he knows when it's time to be serious. And he's got his priorities sorted: he will (and has done a lot) do pretty much anything to protect the president and gallifrey. He looks somewhere between 25 and 35.

Obnik is somewhere between 4000 and 5000 and on his fifth body. His bodies change a lot visually, but his character is very static. Most of his regenerations were planned, though at least one was the result of an explosion (presumably caused by Lanro. This has never been proven but everyone suspects). He looks about 40 right now

Rolenva is very young at about 250 and has been recruited only a short while ago. She's never regenerated before. She looks a little older than Dela but not much.

No one knows how old Lanro and Dolin are. They probably don't even know themselves. They're older than everyone else working at the CIA, that's for sure. Most people have seen at least one of them regenerate before, but if you added all of those up you'd get far more than thirteen lives for each, so the rumours of some weird experiments are very sticky. Lanro just shrugs if you ask them. Dolin doesn't say a word in response to that question. Lanro is a very fluid person the only thing that sticks between regenerations is their love of explosives and mischief. Their body is frequently missing limbs whether through accidents or inherently changes. They currently look middle-aged and don't have a right arm. Dolin's early bodies were women but at some point that changed and now they're all men. This current incarnation looks about 60, has short white hair and a very intense and strict appearance. He's blind in one eye.

2. Talk about their name. What's their long name? What (nick)names are they called by who?

So many thoughts on names!

I also just realized that all of these have a specific pronounciation to me and I wish I knew linguistics so I could describe it properly because I think not all of these line up with english rules on it. I might have to record their names at some point

Ardelanurvatinan is Dela's full name. Nurva is the name of her house. She recently chosen to go by Dela, in her previous incarnation she went by Ardela, which is a more proper way to shorten her name. Narvin, as her boss, still calls her that though. Her cousin Patok (full name Patokanurvallirto, he's called Patok everywhere though) also calls her Del a lot to annoy her.

Obnik's long name is Obnikolanponvell. He sometimes goes by Vell when his current regeneration is a woman.

Fridolinstarcrestulna is Dolin's full name. Starcrest is his house name. The first part of this (Fridolin) I actually got from a hedgehog my brother, some neighbours and I saved last summer. It's what we named him very quickly when the vet needed a name

Rolenvallenum is full for Rolenva. She does not like anything else currently. If you want to annoy her, you can call her Lenva. I think she changes it completely somewhere during the Time War, when she's realized she never was a woman and also lost all her identity, to something that has zero connection with her. maybe even a title

Another soulmate AU

So I was doing some reading on ao3 and found a series of fics (for a completely separate fandom mind you) with this cute soulmate idea: a red tally for everybody you’ve loved, a black for everybody you’ve loved who’s died, and a white when you meet your soulmate.

Obviously I can’t resist taking this back to Voltron. Imagine Keith, holding onto hope for Shiro because his tally hasn’t turned from red to black yet. Lance, his shoulder covered in red tallies, he gets them so quick, but nobody gets one for him. Hunk, with precious few tallies, and every one of them black. Shiro, just two tallies, a black and a red on his right arm. The galra take his arm though, and the part he hates most, is the fear of forgetting those he loved. Worse yet, he’ll never notice when he meets the one.

Flash forward, and Shiro is back and broken. The paladins gather and leave Earth. Lance meets the lovely Allura and knows he’s met his soulmate. He even has the white mark. Shiro absently notices a scratch on his metal arm one day. He thinks it’s nothing more than odd when it doesn’t come off. He realises too late what it means, his feelings buried for far too long. Lance loves Allura though.

Eventually, Lance notices something that worries him. He has another tally. A red one now. But he hasn’t loved anyone since Allura, so what could it mean? Pidge knows. Pidge always knows. An elaborate plot ensues, and results in Lance unceremoniously flailing about in the castle’s (right-way-up for convenience) pool. Shiro of course, dives in to save him, warms him, hugs him and lends him his jacket. Pidge quietly ushers everybody out, and Lance’s eyes twinkle at Shiro. They spend that night with Lance pouting and saying he’s cold, and Shiro ruefully smiling and lying with him to keep his blue paladin warm.
