even though dickory isn't as popular in the fandom as Hickory I've been recently fascinated with his character and how things might have been for him growing up.
Cause the guy obviously is skilled in bounty hunting and loves his brother but ever wonder about any possible loss chances he might had to let go cause of like his status as a bounty hunter?
like this purely my own headcanon but I've always imagined that bounty hunters aren't exactly that well respected in the trolls world. Feared yes but not respected.
And my little brain latched onto that line and now I'm somehow dipping my toes with possible dickory lore of him being bounty hunter because that's all he's ever known in his life
and then I started thinking of him maybe being the breadwinner of his family and then he ends up getting hickory in bounty hunting because that's the only place and world dickory ever knew he would have a chance at keeping his brother safe because it was familiar to him
and then when Hickory eventually start getting independent and wanting to get out of bounty hunting he tries to find other paths he could have despite being looked down on for being a hunter
then Dickory just getting flashes of the chances he could've had if things were better for him but now he thinks its just too late for him cause he gave up trying
