Never did Sahar think that she would be moving onto a ship, let alone one that was full of pirates, however, she only was following in the path of her mentor. She trusted Yair with her life and knew that he wouldn’t steer her in the wrong direction, but a part of her was privately concerned if he was making the most… coherent judgment. He had briefly spoken of his past, never fully divulging details most likely for her sake, however, from what she gathered, he had fully intended to leave that past behind.

It would seem she was wrong.

Slender hands tightly gripped the pile of books in her hands, her fingers digging softly into the hardcover as she made sure not to trip over one of the floorboards beneath her. They were heavy but nothing that she couldn’t handle. Yet, in the midst of her own thoughts, she failed to safely maneuver out of the way of a smaller cabin body. Instead, she bumped into a taller male in front of her.
