Kinnaris are mythical creatures sent from the Himalayas to protect humans. In Lao folklore, they are half-human, half-bird creatures. Most often depicted with the body of a swan, who is a graceful dancer and musician famously called Sao Manola. A traditional symbol of beauty and grace. A group of us, decided to take a different spin on the mythology and see what other birds would make the Kinnalys interesting. Here’s one with the body of an ostrich.
