She had heard from Yue that Lao had gone after the Lynx and had managed to get himself shot. For some reason that she couldn’t quite explain she found herself worried for the man who held a fearful sort of loyalty to the Lees. It had been this worry that eventually led her to finding out which hospital the boy was staying at and making her way to see him with Wu trailing behind her at her son’s insistence. 

It wasn’t hard to getting into the hospital and finding his room number. Knocking lightly on the door before walking inside she caught sight of the tired and almost pale looking man laying in a hospital bed. She ordered Wu to stay outside as she took the bag of takeout from the man before closing the door behind her. 

“I do hope you feel better than you look..” she mused, stepping closer and placing the bag down on the nearby tray. “I am told that hospital food is horrendous so I took the liberty of stopping by and picking up something more appetizing for you.”
