ok,, 😏I may or may not have been stalking your blog and would like to add to the lap-sitting convo: 😈I think it’s not even meant in a sexual way; just as if they were sitting down having a conversation, ian would just seat himself on mickey instead of next to him ya know? 😂 or like even if they are around other people but sitting down ian would happily place himself in mickeys lap! key word... casually!!! I hope the ian lap-sitting committee approves of my comment and I will gladly add to it!
I love this whole thing. I also love how it's had legs. I think my first ask about sitting in laps was weeks ago!
Anyway, you kinda nailed the vibe here. Look for the scene where Mickey tries to make lunch in particular.

About the lap sitting ask...let's say in a relationship?
Blade would wrap his arms around the MC, kiss her on the cheek, and depending on what he was doing, continue to cover her with smooches or happily proceed with whatever he was doing.
Trouble would wrap his arms and legs around the MC in a kind of loving clinch.
Tallys would exhale sharply because her slender legs were not meant for lap-sitting. Then she would strongly and silently bear up the pain lol.
Shery would fall over because she was weak and unprepared!
Riel would slowly look up, smile slightly, and deadpan, “…can I help you?”
Chase would wrap his arms around the MC and nip them lightly on the neck.
Red would kiss the MC’s cheek and say “aw, do you want attention? ❤”
Ayla would yelp and be like “ow! Your ass is hard!”
Lavinet would huff and stare up at the MC, affronted. Like, “excuse me?”
