guys i need help with pc/laptop specs
i need to start looking for a new laptop (or possibly a full pc) i have no idea what specs are good as i haven't bought one before and idk what makes a good laptop for handling games like the sims 4 with a lot of cc and also running photoshop well what specs should i be looking for?
gaming/laptop/technology friends!!! I need help
is this laptop at all any good?
Its Windows 8.1, has a Dedicated AMD Radeon R7 M260 Graphics card, the processor is AMD A8-6410 Quad-core (2.4 GHz), 1TB of hard drive, 8GB RAM, Beats Audio (?), and I mean its £350 sooo
if it makes any difference, the laptop i have now and have had for 4 years has 4GB RAM and 8GB of hard drive, Intel(R) Core i3 processor, and Intel(R) HD Graphics Family graphics card
(My main concern is whether I can play video games and stuff on it ahaha)
Laptop which will run my huge Sims 3 game
Hello everyone! I'm back! Well, I'm in the process of getting back, actually. Still pregnant, but nearly 36 weeks now and starting maternity leave on Friday. Hopefully this means I can get back to my simmies! I miss them! However, over the past few years I spent a lot of time at my parents house and I played the game (Sims 3) on my mum's computer (running windows 7). With the baby on the way, I now want to play the game at home, but I don't have a computer which can run it. Especially not with all the cc I have and my huge town... And because of space issues I'd prefer a laptop... So, my question is; can anyone give me specs (not minimum specs but good specs) which a laptop should have so it can run TS3 with a huge amount of CC and big, full lots? Thanks in advance!
For those of you keeping score, I think I'm going to go ahead and get the 17.3" Lenovo z710, but I'm dithering about whether to shell out the extra $130 and get the 16 GB RAM model, or just go with the 8 GB.
I'm looking into buying a laptop that's capable of streaming in the next couple of months so I can actually do livestreams instead of just mooching off other people, but most of my computer knowledge dates back to, like, 1999 and all I really know is that I need at least a quad-core i7 processor. My budget is about $700-$900 (preferably toward the lower end, if feasible; wife is most insistent that she needs a gaming laptop and I promised her I'd go halfsies on it with her, which has decreased my available budget). Any input/thoughts/derisive statements about how I don't know what I'm talking about/suggestions?
So I ordered a new laptop. i7 quad core, 16GB RAM, GT 750M dedicated graphics. Only problem is Windows 8. I'll probably get Sims 4 for it but I really want to play Sims 2
