This is Matthias’ boyhood home in in the Trent Valley near Newark, Nottinghamshire. His parents still own and live at this Victorian estate and Matt visits every few weeks, as his mother and father enjoy taking his daughter, Annie, for trips and activities at the home and around Europe. Parts of the estate are frequently rented out for weddings and other events, the private library maybe accessed for research for a fee, and other parts of the estate are treated as a museum because of King Charles I being brought to Kelham as a prisoner in 1647. All of this creates another source of income for the Cautheret family.
