Bad Blood Boils Over

Team Shenkuu has been in the news lately but it hasn't been for the right reasons. The bad-blood between the captain and player Larcy Phu is well-known but if sources are to be believed, the situation has nosedived and gone further south. Mirsha Grelinek has officially asked for the Grundo's ouster from her team. There hasn't been any confirmation yet.

Inspired by @queerneopets’s posts with Shenkuu emblems using trans colours, I made some trans/NB pride icons (85x85) using some ideas a friend and I tossed around.

Oh no, I headcanon that Larcy Phu used to be a Snow JubJub as a kid until he drank a Halloween Grundo Morphing Potion because he was kinda bad at Yooyuball as a JubJub (despite the fact he was really good at throwing snowballs); this, though, was kinda seen as cheating and that's how he first earned his fame (one he ultimately owned up to because one of his idols is Hubrid Nox; I mean, the stache gotta have appeared from SOMEWHERE). His childhood nickname was Flurry. (Nickname inspired by a Snow JubJub from an old and now-removed collectable card: https://bookofages.jellyneo.net/characters/2945/ )

As I thought about Neopians being "trans-species", for lack of a better term, I realized that Larcy Phu's name doesn't fit with the Grundo language as established in canon, namely it is lacking in "X"s and "Z"s.

Therefore, he probably used a morphing potion.

I would say "thats it that's the post" but I actually have a bonus headcanon:

If you are a Halloween Larcy truther like me, it is worth noting that White Grundo Morphing Potions do not exist in-game, but Halloween Grundo Morphing Potions do!
