Mine!
So I am going to have to take back what I said about not liking the oaths... there is one that was originally awesome but the official one was great.
Larfreeze is the bearer of the Orange Lantern. He is the only bearer of the Orange Lantern due to what emotion on the spectrum it draws its power from.
Avarice... or Greed...
The creatures you see with Larfreeze, or Agent Orange as he was called, are constructs created from the creatures he has killed. Due to the nature of the ring, there can be only one live member in the Corps. If there were more members, each would fight for sole possession of the Central Power Battery. The constructs are essentially mindless and will follow the orders of the bearer of the Orange Ring.
(I should be credited for not making any Lord of the Rings One Ring jokes...)
The Orange Lantern is pretty much the one ring that I know of that I would not want... with Red Lantern Rage being the second on that list. Actually, thinking on it now I may be more apt to want the Orange before the Red. Having my blood replaced by burning plasma isn’t exactly on my bucket list and it would probably be the last thing if it were. The fact that greed would be the one thing that drives me is pretty scary when you get right down to it.
Creating an image with the Orange and having to link Greed with that could be a bit difficult. I need to work out how I am going to do that. The color wheel has given me some ideas on how I can do this. It’ll be fun...
Oh yes... the Oath. If you haven’t guessed it by now, it’s just “Mine”. That was the original. The new one is a little... meh.
What's mine is mine and mine and mine.
And mine and mine and mine!
Not yours!
I like “Mine” better.
Just sayin.
