This floor in the dining room is wonderful.

The big "Purple House" hasn't sold yet. (I'm colorblind when it comes to purple- can't distinguish it from gray, so I'll take their word for it.) The huge 2017 home in Plymouth, MN was sold in 6/2024 but was put back on the market in 9/2025. The house is only 8yrs. old, has 6bds, 5ba, 10,277sqft, and it was sold last year for $2.777m, but they are now asking $2.9m.

Oh, and it's also a little bizarre inside. Check out the banquette w/the cascading chandelier.

There's a separate, round, dinette off the entrance hall.

Right off to the side of the living room there's a large bar.

A Martini-shaped sink.

Behind the sofa, there's the open concept kitchen/dining room.

I like the kitchen to be a little more separate. It seems like it's right in the living room.

To the side of the dining room, there's a small seating area w/a lighted mural in the ceiling.

This wall sections off a sun room from the living room.

There's more space for guests to sit.

And, who doesn't love a neon Steampunk powder room? There's something for everyone in this house.

This is a home office and the car is a desk.

Beautiful big 1905 home in Union, WV. 4bds, 2ba, 4,165sqft, $525k.

Very cozy living room. Not sure how I feel about the wood being painted black, though. I mean, it looks good, but it's not original.

From here, there's a nice view of the stairs.

To the side of the fireplace, they've placed a desk in front of the window.

Pocket doors between the living and dining rooms open to this large dining room with a brick fireplace.

Also off the dining room, there's a lovely cozy family room.

In here, there's a nice big den.

And, it appears that this could be a dining room, if desired.

The kitchen's a little odd, but it looks like the owners are looking to downsize.

This is the weirdest church conversion I've ever seen. 1920 church in Franklinville, NY has 8bds, 4ba, 10,736sqft. Reduced $151k to $199k, on the market for 200 days. It looks like it has a great bell tower. Well, I found the before conversion photos and now I'm even more confused. Aha! Thanks to Odessa-Edmundson who recognized it. They have an Instagram called Magically Garcia. You can see more photos there, and it does say that it's for sale. They didn't get rid of the sanctuary, but they painted the ceiling black. They were going for a Disney look and there is a photo of the bells.

This is the beautiful window that we see in the front.

Where is the church? Did they put up walls and a low ceiling? Apparently, not. They intended to make it a ballroom.

Where's this ceiling? They painted it black, according to their Instagram.

So, I guess this is still here.

Down in the basement, there's a fireplace and 2 of the pews from the church used for the kitchen table.

They didn't do a new kitchen, they're using the old church kitchen. On Instagram they're wood stained, and they painted them.

To have 8 bedrooms they must have made rooms.

It's a big primary bedroom and they've got a little portable fireplace in the corner, plus a chandelier.

I don't see a match for this room. They must have knocked the walls down, and made the rooms bigger.

A large child's room has fancy molding on the walls.

They've got a fireplace to match the beds.

This room's ceiling lights kind of match the room above, I think.

They must have made a hallway here. Maybe up those stairs is the front entrance.

Fancy pink bedroom with a large chandelier. The bedrooms are certainly generous.

I wonder what the heat situation is, b/c each bedroom has a heater fireplace.

This is so interesting. I've never seen a church conversion like this. They made closets, too.

Maybe this was a church office area at one time. There's also a photo of this room on their Instagram.

There's a big addition on the back. The lower part must be the kitchen and the upper part, the large bedrooms.

Large parking lot and a 0.51 acre of land. This is sad- they moved from CA w/a dream of turning this church into a castle, and they looked so happy and did so much work, but now they're selling it. Apparently they moved back to the Philippines.
