Autumn’s Tithe
Overall:
- This was not the most amazing book I’ve ever read. I will say that it definitely was fast passed. Which is very different for a first book in a fantasy series. Usually fantasy books when they are the first in a series they take their time developing the world and characters. I did like the twist ending of Dahey working against Finder. I really did not see that coming. I know they were like at odds with one another the whole time but I thought that was just cousins being cousins. I also liked the fact that the original bad guy, the Starveling, turned out to not be the real enemy. It seems a bit cliche but this book definitely needed a bit of cliche.
- Rating: 3/5
