Our most simplistic design “Damaged Dirk” for sale on our Etsy store.
Story - This weapon is simple by many standards, but, oh, the stories it would tell if only it could speak. Maybe stories of daring adventure, dashing through forests and saving a maiden. Or possibly war stories, clashing with foes and slashing through hordes. The stories themselves? That's for you to decide.
two photos of a larp fight half-assedly stitched together, but i like the result.
This weapon is “Tally 48” now available on our store!
Story: This weapon has seen some use. What could the tally marks mean? 47 engraved into the handle; maybe it’s the number of zombies you’ve killed, or perhaps lives you’ve saved using it, or maybe a track of how many days since some major event in your life. But one thing is left to be answered, what will make Tally #48?
Malicious griefing in a larp can ruin even the best game. What are the reasons, and when does it cross the line from harmless PVP to a problem? http://www.larping.org/larp-griefing-to-death/
I talk about what I mean when I say I play a Full Contact LARP, and I talk about Physical Touching at LARPs and safety.
I focus so much on how we go about handling permission to touch, because on many discussion groups LARPers seemed to feel this was unsafe, or that players were taking an unsafe risk in giving consent before game on.
Thanks for watching, and for those who this video was made for, I hope I explained it a little better this time. :)
The two major health systems in larp are HP-based and location-based. Which works better for combat? Which works better for dramatic effect? Find out here.
Which do you prefer? Hit points or location?
