What do you think of this new massive "debunk" of our theories?

if this was meant to “derail” larries, it’s a pretty terrible attempt. the whole thing reads like someone swallowed a thesaurus and hoped big words would make their points sound smarter. i got halfway through before i completely lost the plot — not because i’m “not intelligent enough,” as someone might try to say, but because actual articles and dissertations don’t need to be written like a word salad to be understood. with so many new (and younger) larries around these days, most of them won’t get through it either.

it’s a good example of linguistic/persuasive manipulation. in some cases, they’re trying to control the narrative by overwhelming the reader. this is common in “debunks” that rely more on tone than evidence. they want to sound smart, not be right. they’re dressing up their argument in overly complex language to make it sound more legitimate or authoritative than it actually is.

and even looking at it from a non-larrie perspective, a giant “debunk” does… nothing. it doesn’t stop anybody, it doesn’t change anyone’s mind, and i genuinely don’t understand the purpose.

so the only thing i’ll actually say is this

if larry wasn’t real, why treat the idea of it like a threat?

i also wouldn’t go around making songs like “sunflower” or saying how we should watch the satellite together and sleepwalking/sleep talking knowing that the person you don’t want relationship allegations has songs named sunflower and late night talking AND satellite…knowing that people will connect those certain words to said person

do you ever feel bad being a larry? like sometimes when i see anti stuff it does make me feel like im supporting something im not supposed too

that’s exactly what antis want, though. their entire goal is to make you doubt yourself, to make you second-guess what you’ve seen with your own eyes. they twist things, use guilt tactics, and act like they hold some moral high ground, when really, they’re just uncomfortable with the idea that they might be wrong.

but i’ll be honest — i don’t ever feel bad about being a larrie. not even a little. because i know what i believe in is real. i’ve seen too much, heard too much, felt too much truth in their art, their words, their actions. it’s not just fanfiction or wishful thinking; it’s patterns and parallels that have lasted for years, things that don’t just “happen” by coincidence. there’s too much intention there, too much connection to brush off as delusion. and it’s no different than believing in any other celebrity relationship, except this one challenges how the industry works, and how queerness has been handled within it. that’s why it’s targeted so heavily.

antis can say whatever they want, but they’re not trying to “protect” anyone — they’re trying to silence belief, because belief is powerful. when people believe in something that goes against the narrative they’ve been fed, it threatens the illusion. and the truth is, they don’t like how right we often turn out to be.

the other part of this is that so much of what antis say is rooted in the fact that they refuse to even consider that two men like harry and louis could’ve ever been together. and that refusal says a lot more about them than it does about us. there’s a ton of homophobic undertones in the way they frame things.

not every anti is blatantly homophobic, sure. some are even part of the lgbtq+ community themselves. but internalized bias is real, and a lot of people don’t recognize it in their own thinking. the idea that harry and louis “couldn’t possibly” be together often comes from a place of deeply ingrained disbelief — the kind that still sees queerness as unrealistic or too far-fetched when it comes to people in the spotlight.

so no, i don’t feel bad. i feel sure. i know where my faith stands, and it’s not shaken by noise online. because at the end of the day, what i believe in has always been rooted in love — not in hate, not in projection, not in anything harmful. and that’s something they’ll never be able to take away.

how do you still believe in larry? i want them to be able to be out and open and i’ve been trying to continue to believe in them but it’s so hard with everything and i don’t know if it right to support that anymore, i love louis and i want him to be happy and his true self and i truly want their love to be real but i don’t know how to keep going and without “larry proof”

i get it, it can feel so heavy sometimes, especially when the industry keeps stacking things against them. the best advice i can give is to remind yourself why you became a larrie in the first place. go back to the old stuff if you need to—the moments, the history, the things that made you believe to begin with. that foundation hasn’t gone anywhere. and honestly, there is proof these days, it’s just not the obvious kind it was when they were in the band. now it’s all in the subtle notes, patterns, and connections you have to really look for. being a larrie was never meant to be easy, especially when you factor in the closet and the industry—it’s meant to test your patience and your trust.

i can’t think of names off the top of my head, but if you check out this anon my friend lay got recently, she listed some blogs and platforms that are amazing for both new and old larries, and a lot of them share current “proofs” too. it might help to connect with that.

our support is exactly what they need if they’re ever going to have the chance to be out and open one day. if we let go of that belief, or if we stop backing them because it gets hard, then it only plays into what the industry wants. they need people in their corner who trust them, who can see past the noise, and who are willing to stand by them until they can stand by themselves

If they were forcibly closeted, they wouldn’t be allowed to drop all the hints and signals. For example, Pleasing wouldn’t use Larry as part of their selling strategy every couple of months if someone didn’t want that connection out there. Harry’s whole solo career is built on him and his team selling the idea of him being queer to the general public. The real fact they’re hiding back is that Harry isn’t queer.

He probably -bent down- for some powerful man in the industry, but plenty of male celebrities have done that while still being straight.

this is one of the most disgusting and blatantly homophobic takes i’ve seen in a while. you’re not just invalidating queerness — you’re sexualizing and demeaning someone in the same breath. the idea that harry “bent down for a powerful man” is vile and rooted in the same rhetoric that’s been used for decades to silence and humiliate queer people. you don’t get to claim to “know” what someone is or isn’t when your argument depends on equating queerness with career manipulation or sex-for-fame narratives. you don’t sound insightful, you sound cruel.

hello! so for recent proofs — everything right now is much more coded. it’s the kind of stuff where you really have to connect the dots or dig deeper to see it. since they’re not being seen together publicly anymore, it’s naturally harder to find the kind of obvious “proof” we had during the band days. but trust me, there are plenty of resources out there that compile those little details and coded moments that might help you.

one of the most recent and honestly my favorite proofs is reelgate: louis liking a larry reel on june 29th during glastonbury, and that like staying up for hours. i have video proof it was really his account — this wasn’t just some random slip. and i genuinely don’t think it was a hack either; otherwise, there would’ve been more activity.

at the end of the day, keep your beliefs close and remember why you became a larrie in the first place. stunts and denials will always be part of the pattern, but that’s exactly why the patterns matter. if it wasn’t real, they wouldn’t treat it like a threat. <3

If you had to pick just one quality from each of L and H that makes you love/support them, what would it be?

It doesn’t have to be necessarily career-related, just something you genuinely admire about them.

for louis, it’s the way he loves. not just in relationships, but in how he treats his fans. he doesn’t talk at us, he talks to us. there’s this genuine devotion there, this sense that he truly sees us as part of his extended family. you can tell we’re woven into his life in a real way, not as a marketing tool but as people he cares about and wants to show up for. that kind of loyalty is rare.

for harry, it’s his compassion especially toward women. despite the “womanizer” image that was slapped onto him when he was basically a kid, he has always shown an incredibly deep respect for women. he doesn’t reduce women to jokes or objects, he listens, he protects, he gives space, and he constantly uses his platform to amplify and uplift instead of demean. it’s one of the most consistent and admirable things about him.
