i think the part that’s getting me is that if this were literally any other celebrity or influencer, tabloids would be running with “SHE CHEATED.” not “allegedly,” not “fans speculate,” but full-on she cheated, she has a history of cheating, relationship drama exposed headlines. but because there’s such a strong need to preserve this relationship narrative, suddenly it's “fans are harassing her,” “this is defamation,” “this is fake,” “this is AI,” “she’s a victim of a deepfake.”
here’s the reality of being in the public eye. people take photos. constantly. at events, in public spaces, with friends, with strangers — whether you like it or not, it happens. it sucks sometimes, sure, but it is literally part of celebrity culture. and when you already have a public history of cheating attached to your name, people are going to look more closely. that’s not some shocking or targeted thing that literally just happens to celebrities all the time. people build perceptions based on previous patterns.
