hi guys , back in hell with sonic . i'm working on a sonic frontiers au that has somehow been dubbed larry frontiers . essentially, larry lynx takes sonic's place, and silver, elias acorn, and shard take amy, knuckles, and tails' place respectfully . there's a few changes made throughout to account for the different cast, including different dialogue, different behaviours — especially from sage and eggman — and different stories to be told by the koco . here are the memory tokens for the guys in the cages
Elias' Memory Token
- glows red and is represented by an inverted version of his crown
- this relates to his unease and dislike of the crown, but his need and forcedness of serving it
- inverted because he feels stronger to not wanting the crown, while sally notably did, and wishes he could be more of an adventurer . this is also why he stays with the secret freedom fighters
Silver's Memory Token
- glows cyan, similar to his powers, and is represented by a stopwatch with his circular markings as the hand
- this relates to his connection with both past and future, his time travelling, and his converging memories, all while he is trapped in the present
Shard's Memory Token
- glows yellow, like his markings and is represented by his dual toned core gem
- relates to his sentience, his seperation from robotnik, and becoming his own person — furthermore becoming his own hero
- both red and green being visible is important, and relates to him becoming himself, but also how people view him as a former metal sonic, and assume him to be evil as a result
- sage shares her memory token with shard, due to their shared connection to robotnik, and their shared questioning (even if just a little on sage's part) of him
