Margaery looked at the building in front of her, skirts gripped loosely between her hands as brown eyes flitted across the immaculate brick of the building.
“...I must say, this is a far cry from the lodgings I have taken up.”

Though it indeed seemed like a bit of a perfect city, cute and relaxing, Akira knew from his experiences that nightlife almost always showed a part of the city that couldn’t be viewed in the daytime. Whether or not it was smart for his school life (would his education here even count whenever he managed to go back home?), he knew he’d be curious enough to sacrifice a bit of his sleep for the sake of exploration. It might give him more of an idea as to where he was, after all.
It must have been around midnight that he heard heavy footsteps nearby, moving fast and getting louder. They were running... towards him?
Old habits die hard; Akira stepped back into the shadows and listened hard to what was happening, waiting for any sort of indication that he should reveal himself or come to somebody’s aid.
are you the chaser or the chased, @larsenier ??
@larsenier liked for a starter!
There wasn’t a greater invention than that of paper and a pen. (Yes, okay, alchemy was pretty incredible too but that didn’t count in a world where alchemy didn’t exist and the steam engine propelled humanity towards its future.)
Al knew he had a tendency to get tunnel vision when it came to being focused. There were too many times he could recall that he would fall asleep over novels and textbooks and wake up drooling on the pages in his childhood.
Hence why he was so upset when the pen flew out of his hand and rolled down the sidewalk - it ruined the concentration he had built up. He let out a little huff as he chased it down, clipping shoulders with another person. “Oops, sorry!”
