Me too! I have to keep reminding myself though that people who actually are bothered by it aren't worth bothering WITH if they don't get we're just being ourselves and are well-meaning! It only takes a second or two to scroll past, or if they're reading it takes a lot quicker/less effort to read than write (for most people).
People like Andrew Garfield (and Tom Hiddleston I think, I don't know him that well - lol as though I know Andrew personally - but he seems to do it too) who ramble a bit and are honest, are really inspiring because they may not be perfect but they're genuine and.. it's not boring, so I think maybe I'm not boring or a bother either! It's just being honest really. So long as you have some self-awareness and are actually interested and passionate about what you're saying, .. I respect that.
Tumblr is not good for ramblers generally! Fanmails make me balk, they look so ugly and BLOCK TEXT. I mean, what I'm writing is block text but it's formatted nicer and.. yeah. I'm rambling again!

Critique is great, when asked for. The thing with opinions is that everybody is entitled to one, but an author has to make a conscious decision to listen to a limited group of people (aka you can’t please everyone). Meaning - when someone sends you a fic and asks for critique, give them your honest thoughts. If you come across a published work, don’t think that it’s your ultimate right to take it apart (and this is especially relevant to fanfiction which is genre done only for pleasure).
