There are a lot of complaints from The Youth about how useless and compromised and utterly dysfunctional their GSAs are, but it’s still a step up from the previous model: “Form a school club based on an extremely niche nerd interest that only socially broken people would want to talk about, talk about that interest for 15 minutes, and use the remaining 75 minutes of club time to engage in one-upmanship regarding our respective psychological traumas”.
