        oh, this is unfair  –  byakuya clearly already knows the answer, probably already knows exactly how the rest of this trial is going to play out, and yet he insists on making makoto figure it out.     makoto hasn’t yet figured out the point in doing this  –  hadn’t he proven himself enough in the second trial ?     he turns to kyouko, who just nods for him to continue.    he suspects neither of them are going to concede unless they’re seconds away from death, and now he’s worried about looking like an idiot.     he closes his eyes and tilts his head back, feeling like everyone in the room is staring him down.     “    um  –  oh !     is it maybe something about  – the corpse’s eye color ?    ”     wait, that’s stupid, the corpse exploded.    “   uh …     ”

          hajime  can’t  help  but  fight                              a smile – whenever kazuichi says something that could be risky without immediately rescinding, doubling back, hajime has to think of where they’ve come from. gently, he leans forward and takes souda’s hand away from his mouth, holding it just a little too long in his own. ‘hey, you shouldn’t do that. don’t want to cut yourself, do you?’ he shifts closer, just slightly. ‘well, good. i happen to like being the one seeing you.’

      he blushes, half grinning  --  his first instinct is to lift his other hand to his mouth, nervous energy needing an outlet, but he resists the urge.     though that would probably just make hajime take his other hand  ...  nah, it’d just be obvious if he did it now.     “      hey, i’m used to the teeth, i’m not gonna hurt myself.      ”    stretching the truth, but they both know that, so it’s fine.     “     yeah, i’m glad, too.     don’t get all lame on me, okay ?     ”

JOE’S IDOLIZATION WAS HUMOROUS. Keiji was no longer affiliated with the police, and yet the youth put him on a pedestal. Even with the man’s suspicion revolving around an affiliate with the kidnappers, Joe almost saw him as an older brother; and it wouldn’t be long before Keiji found himself playing along. It was cute, and enough to lessen the teen’s fear.

i feel like if i say simon isn’t bad enough to get into purgatory ur gonna somehow whip out the scene where he like, killed someone or smth. but drugs and selfishness usually isn’t considered bad enough for purgatory. 

i think, despite simon’s addiction, i think he wouldn’t sell his soul. i get the vibe from him that he wouldn’t be whiling to endure hell for another hit or something, he’d just look harder for a hit. i think the idea of selling his soul would never cross his mind? in addiction moments where he has the potential to be whiling to sell his soul for something, he’d be too distracted by his need for drugs for selling his soul to cross his mind. i just really don’t think he sell his soul, i don’t get that vibe.

that means that, eventually, he dies. and if he’s not bad enough for purgatory, he gets into heaven. which is weird, because he’s like mystral – not bad enough for purgatory, but not good enough where any rings of heaven really fit him.

there are a few that i can’t say aren’t true because i don’t know enough about him. like courage, pride, honesty, or wit? but i think i’m gonna argue he gets into friendship because of the other boys. because, from my understanding, the first book – trainspotting, i think its called – he has the other boys due to them also suffering from addiction, and they are good friends, i think? and i think that they part ways, if i remember correctly, but in the second book, they meet back up despite it being years down the road, and i think they are still friends? maybe i’m wrong.

which means he has these silly plant powers as his blessing, that he probably thinks is mostly dumb. (until he notices he can make like, the plant ingredients for the drugs he was addicted too – but even then, who cares when death even kills addictions?) and his true form has these flowers on it. but who cares?

he’s in heaven with wee baby dawn.

at least he’s with her and finally clean, right?

          this  cycle  was  a  rough  one,  magnus  sits  on  the  floor  of  the  starblaster,  sweat  soaking  his  back  and  making  his  ipre  jacket  stick  to  him.   he  runs  a  hand  over  his  hair,  wincing  at  the  wound  in  his  side -   he’d  gotten  it  from  being  reckless  while  helping  the  doomed  people  of  the  cycle,  trying  his  hardest  to  help  them  with  the  light.   he  huffs  quietly,  watching  as  the  sky  slows  a  little,  showing  they  were  away  from  the  danger.   he  turns  his  head  toward  his  captain,  before  shaking  his  head  quietly.   “  who-   who  did  we  lose?  ”   he  asks,  voice  ragged.   @laststops​  davenport & magnus!
