LastTale is a Character-Centered AU around Asriel and Flowey. After many genocide routes Flowey stands up for himself and fights back against Chara. It is inspired by the Youtube Unitale by Noah S-B where Flowey tries to fight for the future of humans and monsters.
It is a 'what if' AU.
What if the six human souls worked willingly with Flowey? What if 'Asriel's God Form' was made up from every human and monster soul willlingly? What if Flowey worked with Frisk?
What if God Asriel fought against Chara?
LastTale's main antagonist is Chara.
Plot:
LastTale is the end.
After countless resets, Flowey realizes Chara has manipulated him and his family. He realizes it will never stop and stands up for himself. The two have a fight in which Chara has the upphand and is able to land the finishing strike. However, instead of dying, the last small piece of Frisk reaches out to Flowey and fights with him against Chara. This leads the six Human souls to side with Flowey and eventually the remaining fragments of all the monster souls merge with Frisk's to form a new powerful soul.
Flowey takes on the true 'god form' from Undertale but instead of everyone resisting him, they willingly join him to strike down Chara.
Chara has become an amalgamate by then. The AU idea is taken from the theory that the red soul seen in Alphys laboratory is Chara's soul. It is in the laboratory where the soul is fully corrupted and turns black, becoming a soul amalgamate of hatred. With every reset, Chara's amalgamate soul is trying to absorb Frisk's soul to have complete control of reseting. Chara has almost succeed when Flowey stands up for themself and the last piece of Frisk's soul chooses to side with Flowey.
The battle between Chara and Asriel lasts for five years. Neither of them being able to out do one another. They are equally powered.
Both are the hightest level somebody can be for LV. There would no winner because of this.
Using his locket as the key, Asriel locked Chara behind a golden door with seven coloured flowers binding it. Chara's prison is the ruins of the throne room with no way out. To do this, Asriel must give up half of his power and thus, makes the God form unstable. He splited into two separate forms: the child form of Asriel and Flowey.
Upon locking the golden door, Asriel and Flowey are trapped inside a fracture of resets. There are fragments of the Underworld and the human would floating within the void. Asriel and Flowey are to stay here until Asriel is brave enough to open a strange, mystery door but who knows when that will happen...
The fracture is the end result of the battle between Asriel and Chara.
Asriel's design:
A purple ribbon made from the remains of Toriel's dress.
A light green hoodie that he found in Frisk's chest (from Snowden).
A green sweater (no more stripes).
Asriel is meant to be 'OP' - it's based on the Asriel shown in the Pacfist Run where he is a God.
