I drew young Mender!Gaster with his father on the library. This take place around the middle ages so they used an early Modern English or Shaphereian English (that’s the english we can understand as normal peeps as far as I know). Making comic isn’t part of the art trade but I voluntarily wanted to add it cause it took a bit awhile to finish this thus the wait. I could’ve done it faster but PC broke before I could finish it haha xD. I tried to replicate old English astronomy textbook without complicating it in the process while still gives the old middle age vibe.

I had few scenes to pick for this and the choice was hard, at one point I scrapped the idea and picked this one instead.
This is an incredibly pivotal moment in the story and I wanted to encapsulate it in one image; the connection, the union of two trapped SOULs, their desperate escape and the beginning of something greater, and also something dangerous.

The topic for this one was to create a cover image for the upcoming Chapter 12 of the story! Contest is still in motion as of today [ends 19th of April 2025]!

As we learn, although distant, past always matters. Even if we don't want it to exist, it still does. We embrace it, walk this fragile bridge between the lines. Uncover all those shadows of you. As we leave no letter unturned, I'm just as scared as you. I hold your hand for comfort. Yours or mine? I cannot tell. Lost in inevitable truth, this feeling of uncertainty.
