sphaera rubra semper saltat.
semper saltat sphaera rubra.
numquam locum inveniet,
in quo rotunditatem fessam
quieti dare poterit.
sphaera forsitan saltabit,
dum computator vitam trahit.
Anyone who has a nice (maybe famous) example for the indirect speech or accusative and Infinitive (accusativus cum infinitivo) in Latin??? :)
That moment your friends see you doing homework, and still ask: "Is that latin or greek?" Like really,.. Ever seen my greek book? Yeah, it's a TOTAL DIFFERENT ALPHABET AND TOTAL DIFFERENT LETTERS! GET YOUR DAMN FACTS STRAIGHT, MATE! .___.
(and then silently whispering "mate" would be a vocative...)
Totally conquered the latin-haters on my facebook, with my latin knowledge. ipsa scientia potestas est ~Knowledge itself is power.~
Now, they ignore me after my final punch in their latin-hating-ego's, but you know:
Tacit qui timuit ne non succederet. ~He who feared he would not succeed, was silent.~
I'll take that as a 1-0 for me :D Veni, vidi, vici, latin-haters!
Dear whoever who doesn't like the latin and greek languages, lucratori te salutant,
Don't fuck with classicists, 'cause they definately will take revenge, latin-style. Don't tell us latin is useless, and you never use it anymore, because you do. You use it everyday, such a shame you don't know it, and you probably never will, vacca foeda. Don't tell me you never said: vice versa, carpe diem, alter ego, et cetera and many more latin phrases. Your whole current society is built on the wisdom, which the romans en greeks left us. We should be thankful for this knowledge from Classical cultures, latin and ancient greek. So don't you ever ague about the usefulness of the classics again. Consider yourself warned, we'll take revenge on you, latin-style.
Nemo me inpune lacessit. Nosce te ipsum. Alea iacta est,ιδιωτη. x Elianne
Seriously, ~no bullshit~
