Noah said he was getting a very late start, but that was life, what could you do. Sometimes it just snuck up on you.

Level: Late Beginner Song: The Star Spangled Banner Composer: John Stafford Smith, Francis Scott Key Instrument: Violin Pages/Format: 1/Portrait
The rhythm is a bit off at parts since there are no eighth notes/doted notes. This was done mostly so a beginning player could have a chance at the song. If you’re already familiar/comfortable with the rhythm then just use the notes as a guide. As a whole it’s not terribly off. It’s primarily been transposed, the C natural is what gets forgotten the most I’ve noticed. Hopefully you’re comfortable with playing on the G string before you get started. It’s a .png on a transparent background--should make editing for printing on colored paper easy.
Just got out of stretching and strenghtening class and I feel really good. I haven't been stretching seriously for like 2 weeks and even doing the splits and stuff felt amazing! But I forgot to bring perfume so for the first time in my life, I'm in a cab that smells better than me (TMI i know...)
Would you like me to post progress photos of myself every now and then?
Class
So, I just returned from class. The teacher had somewhere to go so we did an hour of class instead of the usual 1h30. We did floor barre only today to strengthen our bodies and get a better turnout. It was my first time doing it and I really enjoyed it.
The teacher complimented my arch and I was over the moon! She also said that we were going to start strengthening our legs and ankles for pointe! Of course we won’t go on pointe yet but it’s exciting enough to know it will happen someday. She also said that she will arrange extra lessons for us to prepare for pointe.
Well not much else has happened today. But, I did have shoulder and back pain for the whole day :( I’d seen a doctor about it last year but it’s getting worse and I will go to the hospital again this weekend because it hurts like crazy…
Anyway, have a great day/night lovelies <3
BTW: Have you seen the Oscars? Ellen was hilarious and I was so happy that Frozen won! Poor Leo though, he really deserves an Oscar
