hi guys! Don’t know how many of my old followers are still active on Tumblr, art school kicked my but so I haven’t been on a lot since like, 2015 or some shit??? Anyway thought maybe an update!

I’m 23 now (what) a long way from 14 when I started this damn thing, and since graduating art school and panicking I filed some paperwork around and now I’m living in Shanghai, China, which is like, an incredible megacity with insane food and a crazy dope apartment I could never have afforded in the states. haha so I’m out here in China, making art, making music, mostly active on Instagam (late_night_alaska) and also running a subblog on city cats here in shanghai (felinesofshanghai)

I try to keep my nights filled with dancing, light, vodka, and occasionally I’m like, where the fuck am I, but navigating this city has had me crashcourse into learning a lot of wild life skills.

Five things I like about me

A certain wayward Texan of my acquaintance inboxed me and said I had no choice. I beg to differ, but I am also not one to tempt fate. Much. Shush!

1. I have grown chronologically older - I have never grown up. This can also be a negative, but honestly, I hope I enjoy the same joy and enthusiasm with which I currently assail life until I am somebody's fertilizer or shark food.

2. I have a grown up job. I think this is a kick in the pants. I am a quasi-legal management functionary with a major financial services company. People take me seriously and I am actually turned to as a source of knowledge and wisdom in the subjects of compliance and operations. As I sit in my office blasting Anthrax and Public Enemy telling me to Bring the Noise and laughing at utterly inappropriate posts on Tumblr . What?

3. I have a renaissance education. Which means I know a lot of worthless shit and am dynamite at Trivial Pursuit, (which I don't play). Need to know the thrust rating on the J79 turbofan that was on the F-4D Phantom II? Gotcha covered.

Another. I have a third testicle. Good, you're paying attention.

I forget. I have no less than four friends who's spouses or significant other have told them that if they go out with me, they will be sleeping on the couch or significantly worse. Three guys, (one with a wife, one with a girlfriend and one with a very bitchy boyfriend), and one girl. I don't miss a fucking beat.
