@taylorswift My daughter has turned into a big Swiftie like myself! She is wanting a record player for Christmas. I told her she could have one and she can pick 3 records. She wants 1989, Fearless, and it’s a toss up between red and Speak now! I have been on the lookout for as signed CD to surprise her with. 5 Walmarts later and each one was a bust. 🤣

i suddenly remembered i get creative writing and reading and writing confused. like, when i'm in reading and writing class i'll be "okay, i know what this is, i understand it." but then i'll get high-key disappointed when we don't get to write stories and poems or even talk about literature when in fact i knew this all along omg what's wrong with me. thank you for coming to my tedtalk mmkay bye

“You’ve got to do more than THAT. ...I’m telling you that you CAN.” I feel her 150% 😩!!!!! Honestly, I never needed these kinds of get-it-together pep talks from my instructors; I actually would know everyone’s part in the opera, choir, R&B group, etc 😅. Lol. I’ve always been VERY self-motivated (perhaps even to a fault). But these days, most aspiring artists I meet just want to do the absolute bare minimum, always trying to figure out how they can best fit in with what everyone else is doing—as quickly as possible—for “likes”🤢, fame (by any means necessary🤮) , and acceptance from people who truly aren’t even worth the trouble 🤦🏽‍♂️. In my latest YouTube/IGTV video I talk about how my first few professional clients from major labels had so much drive and dedication; I miss that energy 😢. Don’t get me wrong, I still see it in some of my students today (I even try to feature those particular artists here on my page), but it’s so rare now 😩—BRING IT BACK! tonight my mom just killed my fire to study her profession which she’ll pass (her work) unto me in the near future...

what’s worse is I’m not even starting yet with the studies since I’ll be taking it up next SY. why does she have to say that I shouldn’t continue my admission when in fact she needs a successor like hello, I graduated already (not to brag but I worked hard for my 1st degree w/c is pharmacy) and I’m willing to study again for a mere 6 years just to save your clinic and equipment and patients... why can’t you trust and wait for me, just this one time? why do you have to disregard my efforts just because you can’t understand the damn requirements and curriculum when it is your damn profession????????
